On Monday we looked at some features that DealDash has and compared them to other bidding sites. Here are more comparisons to see once and for all if DealDash is the clear winner among all of the other sites, and why it’s worthy of your time and attention.

There are many things that you should compare when you are deciding where to spend your hard-earned dollars. We looked at a few things on Monday, there were many DealDash wins and a few ties. Here are more things that you should look at when choosing an entertainment shopping site:

The Answers

Auto-bidder or no auto-bidder – DealDash has the BidBuddy available on every auction, and is free for everyone to use. Some sites have auto-bidders, some don’t, and some sites only let you use the auto-bidder on certain auctions. Winner? DealDash.

How can you make your online payments? DealDash accepts online payments by credit card, debit card, and Paypal. I believe most sites use both credit and debit, and a few also accept Paypal. Winner? Tie.

Intuitiveness of website – DealDash is extremely user-friendly! You can join DealDash and start bidding in minutes because it’s so easy to use. If you happen to be a “not so computer literate” person, there are videos to watch on DealDash to learn how to use the site, as well as many videos on Youtube. Also, I meant what I said about customer service – if you ever have any problem using the site feel free to email them and they will help you. Other sites are similarly user-friendly, but some are a little confusing. Winner? DealDash/Tie.

Quality of items for bid – DealDash has extremely high-quality items available for auction from very respected brands. Every item that comes from DealDash is brand new and they all have warranties on them. If you ever happen to get a defective item it’s easy to exchange it. Other sites have generic merchandise, send out customer-returned items, and come with mangled shipping. Winner? DealDash.

How many hours per day do the auctions run? DealDash runs auctions 24/7. That’s right, no matter how early you get up, or how late you stay awake, there will always be a DealDash auction for you to participate in. Other sites only run for 12 hours per day. That’s fine for most people, but personally, as the mom of a baby, I am up at all hours! Winner? DealDash.

Shipping costs – DealDash ships every single item for FREE. I have gotten desks, exercise equipment, an armoire, and many other heavy items from DealDash, and shipping is always free. Other sites charge for shipping. Some charge ridiculous amounts for shipping, such as $2 for a gift card that they ship with 1 stamp on an envelope, or charge $5 processing fees on a $20 auction win. Winner? Definitely DealDash!

Being New on DealDash is Easy

Are you new to DealDash? You’re going to want to read this. Here is a quick guide on how to get started.

Thanks for joining DealDash! DealDash is a very fun and useful shopping entertainment website that is not only easy to learn how to do, but will also save you money in the long run. Navigating to the site and signing up is the first step, then it would benefit you to read all of the House Rules, as well as the blogs to make sure that you are getting the most out of your experience. However, here is a short overview of what you need to do to really get started bidding and winning.

The first thing that you need to do is sign up with DealDash, pick a username, and sign in to your new account. When picking a username, make sure that you have thought things through – I wouldn’t suggest making your username your email or real name.
After signing up I strongly advise that you read all of the House Rules, Tips & Tricks, blog posts, and reviews on DealDash that you can get your hands on. Knowledge is power.
The next step is to buy bids. The bid packs come pre-packaged for you in different sizes. DealDash has bid packs of 60, 300, 600, 1200, and 2400. Sometimes this changes, you just need to check back often to see what is available. It’s easy to pay for your bid packs, you can pay with a credit card or even with Paypal. It’s important to note that the price of the bids changes daily, it’s a good idea to check the price of the bids daily so in case there is a great bid sale you can stock up for the future. It’s always a good idea to have a few hundred bids on hand in case something extra-special comes up for auction. You can always buy bid packs, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, but the price fluctuates daily.
Learn how to use the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is available to every bidder, free of charge, in every single DealDash auction. Try it! Open up any DealDash auction, and in the middle of the page you will see “Book a Bid Buddy”. Click on the space where is says “add bids here”, put in however many bids that you are willing to spend on this particular DealDash auction and hit enter. You can put in any number of bids from one to as many bids as you have in your bid bank. You can also cancel a Bid Buddy at any time and all the bids will go instantly back into your account.
Learn how to BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win the auction. When you BIN an auction you simply pay the retail price that is listed on each and every auction right above the picture of the auction. If you find yourself paying as much in bids as the item costs, it’s smart to drop out of the auction and BIN the item. You will get the item, free (fast!) shipping, and all of your bids back to use on another auction. Your bids are credited back once you have paid for the item, so you can re-use them as soon as you like, or save them for another day.

Everyone makes mistakes on DealDash, but there is always another auction to try, try again.

There are many auctions every day on DealDash, and even more bidders than auctions that want to win. Since everyone makes mistakes now and then, you might be able to snag a great auction when someone else makes a mistake! However, you have to remember that there is always another bidder waiting in the wings for when you make a mistake, too.

Stay alert, because there are so many auctions going on at once it’s easy to get distracted and lose track of your thoughts and your auction plans. If you would like to make less mistakes when bidding be sure that you load up your BidBuddy and let him bid for you while you are busy with either another auction or any other distractions that you might have. When you take advantage of this free bidding tool that DealDash provides you are definitely preventing yourself from making mistakes.

Also be sure that you are observing the other bidders when you are on DealDash. By observing the other bidders you can learn things about the other bidders such as their bidding styles, their endurance, and whether or not they use their BidBuddies. While you are learning and observing you will be able to spot when they make a mistake and swoop in and win the auction.

You know what would be a huge mistake? Using a lot of bids on an auction and then not using the BIN (Buy It Now) feature if you don’t win the auction. When you BIN an auction that you didn’t win, you get exactly the amount of bids that you placed back in your account to use again, as well as free shipping on the product. Since you have everything back that you originally started with, that’s definitely not making a mistake.

Facebook – Speaking of DealDash current events, Facebook is another way that you can keep up with all of the current events on DealDash. Getting to know DealDash is really fun, and you will enjoy your bidding experience even more once you learn how to use all of the features effectively. It only takes a few moments to explore all of the special features that DealDash has to offer, and it will benefit you in the long run. So let’s do it!

The “Alert Me” tab is a great feature to make use of. You can use the Alert Me tab in each and every auction that DealDash has listed, even if there is no start date listed on the auction. I personally like to search through each page of auctions in my favorite categories and use the Alert Me tab to keep track of my favorites that are coming up in the future. DealDash will send you a quick message when a particular auction will be starting soon. The Alert Me button is especially handy for items that don’t come up for auction very often. This way you will never miss an auction that’s important to you!

The “Winner’s Tab” is a great feature as well. When you click on the Winner’s Tab you can see each auction that has been won on DealDash, practically as they happen! If you are on the Winner’s Tab and hit the “refresh” button on your keyboard you will see the absolute latest wins on DealDash. This is an important feature to utilize because you can see the exact amount of the final value fee that the bidder that won will pay for the auction. This is helpful because if you see high-value electronics going for just a few dollars you can bet that the “power bidders” aren’t bidding at that particular time, and you should get your bids in while you can.

Finally, my favorite feature that DealDash offers bidders is the BIN (Buy It Now) feature. The BIN features guarantees that if you don’t win the auction you can get your bids back if you pay the retail price of the auction. And since DealDash offers free shipping on every single auction, it’s really a no-lose proposition.
