Big Wins on DealDash

Image result for big winHave you ever had a big win on DealDash? There are hundreds of winners every day, some big and some small.

Most of you reading this DealDash article have probably had at least a few wins on DealDash, but unless you had some really great beginner’s luck they were probably smaller wins. Smaller wins on DealDash are fairly easy, but big wins can be downright difficult.

Why do you think that the smaller wins are easier? Well, there are a few reasons why this could be – starting with the fact that there are usually fewer bidders in the running for the smaller auctions. It could also have something to do with the fact that DealDash offers the BIN “Buy It Now” protection on all auctions. People know if they don’t win the auction outright, then they can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the item, free shipping, and all of their bids back to use on another auction. Not only that, but they get to keep the “clock time” that they gained by bidding on the item.

People are usually more willing to BIN the item if it has a lower value. You are far more likely to find someone willing to pay $20 for an item than to pay $200 – Even if the $200 item is appealing, not everyone has a spare $200 in their budget to use to BIN the item. Either way, we are all lucky that DealDash offers BIN protection on all auctions, big or small.

What is the biggest item that you have ever won on DealDash? My biggest item was a Neato robotic vacuum. It was an awesome win, and it’s something that I use every day. Do you know how I won? I was willing to BIN this item. It was a little on the expensive side, but since I knew that I was willing to buy it anyway I put enough bids in to get to the BIN price – and I won anyway! With all of the bids plus the final cost of the auction I ended up saving myself over $100 than if I had just ordered it. So there’s the DealDash lesson – bid to BIN, and you might just WIN!

I hope this article has you thinking about your next big win. I want you to  get the most out of your DealDash experience. If you’re interested in reading more tips and tricks check out the “Tactics & Tips” section on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Don’t Make That DealDash Mistake!

mistakes

No one can be perfect all of the time, and everyone makes mistakes. Here are some common DealDash mistakes to avoid while bidding.

We here at DealDash Blog would like to help you avoid mistakes. Here are some of the common mistakes that people make while using DealDash, and some ideas for how to overcome them. Hopefully, you will have a better experience bidding and winning on DealDash once you can avoid these mistakes.

A very common mistake that people tend to make on DealDash is not waiting for a great sale on bids! Did you know that after you have purchased your first introductory bid pack you can take advantage of the great bid sales that DealDash offers? Depending on the day and the sale, bid prices can range anywhere between .12 and .20 per bid? If you want to get the most for your money, the best idea is to wait for a super sale on bid packs and buy the largest bid pack than to buy smaller bid packs whenever you run out. Paying too much for bids is definitely a mistake that is easy to avoid if you plan ahead when you see a great price on DealDash bids.

Another mistake that’s easy to avoid on DealDash is bidding when you’re not at your peak. Don’t make the mistake of bidding on DealDash auctions when you are too tired, hungry, sick, or otherwise distracted. If there’s an auction that you feel that you simply must bid on when you aren’t feeling your best, then be sure to use your BidBuddy.

The BidBuddy is there to help you bid against the other players, and to be sure that you have the best chance at winning the auction. If you would like to use your BidBuddy just load him up with as many bids as you are willing to spend on an auction and let him bid for you. Don’t make the mistake of not using the BidBuddy when you can’t fully devote your attention to the auctions.

Another mistake that can be easily avoided is not being aware of the super sales that DealDash offers such as “Free Auction Day” and “Half-Price Auction Day.” These sales are a wonderful chance to pick up an auction win even cheaper than usual. In addition to those sales, it’s also a good practice to keep an eye out for DealDash’s “Time as the highest bidder” promotions. These promotions can give you double, triple, or sometimes even quadruple clock time when you are the highest bidder so you can earn free bids even faster than usual.

I hope that you found this DealDash Blog article on avoiding mistakes helpful. Go check out DealDash at this link right here for some amazing auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Being New on DealDash is Easy

Image result for new friendAre you new to DealDash? You’re going to want to read this. Here is a quick guide on how to get started.

Thanks for joining DealDash! DealDash is a very fun and useful shopping entertainment website that is not only easy to learn how to do, but will also save you money in the long run. Navigating to the site and signing up is the first step, then it would benefit you to read all of the House Rules, as well as the blogs to make sure that you are getting the most out of your experience. However, here is a short overview of what you need to do to really get started bidding and winning.

  1. The first thing that you need to do is sign up with DealDash, pick a username, and sign in to your new account. When picking a username, make sure that you have thought things through – I wouldn’t suggest making your username your email or real name.
  2. After signing up I strongly advise that you read all of the House Rules, Tips & Tricks, blog posts, and reviews on DealDash that you can get your hands on. Knowledge is power.
  3. The next step is to buy bids. The bid packs come pre-packaged for you in different sizes. DealDash has bid packs of 60, 300, 600, 1200, and 2400. Sometimes this changes, you just need to check back often to see what is available. It’s easy to pay for your bid packs, you can pay with a credit card or even with Paypal. It’s important to note that the price of the bids changes daily, it’s a good idea to check the price of the bids daily so in case there is a great bid sale you can stock up for the future. It’s always a good idea to have a few hundred bids on hand in case something extra-special comes up for auction. You can always buy bid packs, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, but the price fluctuates daily.
  4. Learn how to use the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is available to every bidder, free of charge, in every single DealDash auction. Try it! Open up any DealDash auction, and in the middle of the page  you will see “Book a Bid Buddy”.  Click on the space where is says “add bids here”, put in however many bids that you are willing to spend on this particular DealDash auction and hit enter.  You can put in any number of bids from one to as many bids as you have in your bid bank. You can also cancel a Bid Buddy at any time and all the bids will go instantly back into your account.
  5. Learn how to BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win the auction. When you BIN an auction you simply pay the retail price that is listed on each and every auction right above the picture of the auction. If you find yourself paying as much in bids as the item costs, it’s smart to drop out of the auction and BIN the item. You will get the item, free (fast!) shipping, and all of your bids back to use on another auction. Your bids are credited back once you have paid for the item, so you can re-use them as soon as you like, or save them for another day.

Now go out there and bid on DealDash! I hope that this article has been helpful for you. Go check out the site and enjoy being a brand new bidder. Pick a lower valued item, or a gift card that you don’t mind paying full price for if you don’t happen to win, and start bidding! Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Love that Winning Feeling on DealDash

Image result for winning feeling That winning feeling is pretty common on DealDash. There are hundreds of winners every day!

Do you know the winning feeling that I am talking about? If you’re a frequent bidder on DealDash, of course you do! Winning on DealDash is sometimes very easy, and sometimes downright difficult – but once you see that big “CONGRATULATIONS!” it’s all worth it, and that’s the winning feeling that I’m talking about!

There are some categories that are easier to win than others – I find that video games, DVDs, and Blu-Rays are on the easier side to win. On the flip side of that coin, I find that the gift cards, especially the smaller $10 and $25 ones are more difficult to win. Why? Because most people don’t mind taking a chance on a $10 or $25 gift card to a store that they are planning on going anyway, such as Subway or Dunkin’ Donuts. They know if they don’t win the gift card outright, then they can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the gift card, free shipping, and all of their bids back to use on another auction. Not only that, but they get to keep the “clock time” that they gained by bidding on the gift card. It’s a great situation to take advantage of the perks!

I have occasionally had awesome luck with winning gift cards, though. I once won a $25 Shell gas gift card for around $3 (plus the cost of bids, so around $5 total) so you just never know what’s going to happen when you bid on DealDash. That’s why they call it entertainment shopping.

Once you have had that winning feeling a few times – why don’t you share it? Have you invited your friends and family to join DealDash? You can’t bid on the same auctions at the same time, but why not share your love of DealDash with your nearest and dearest?

I hope this article has you thinking about your next big win. I want you to  get the most out of your DealDash experience. If you’re interested in reading even more tips and tricks check out the “Tactics & Tips” section on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

A Few of My Many Mistakes

Image result for bad mistakeEven seasoned bidders make mistakes. Here are some of my top mistakes and how to fix them.

Everyone was a newbie once, and there are many fairly common mistakes that newbies make that we have numerous articles about here on the DealDash Blog. Even seasoned bidders such as myself make mistakes, too. Here are some of my top mistakes and the solutions to prevent or recover from them. With this knowledge we can improve your bidding so you can be as mistake-free as possible.

My first mistake, long ago, on my very first day of bidding on DealDash was not using my BidBuddy! I (very mistakenly) thought that setting up the BidBuddy meant that it was going to bid after every single bid that was placed. Which is completely wrong, of course! I just couldn’t understand how by using the BidBuddy I could save bids. After reading up on the BidBuddy (which I should have done first) I realized that our friend the BidBuddy bids in a pattern with the other BidBuddies, taking turns until there is only one BidBuddy or “live” bidder left. If I had just learned how to use my BidBuddy on my first day on DealDash I would have been less frustrated in the beginning.

Another mistake in my early bidding days was paying too much for bids. In addition to paying too much for bids, I should have also been more aware of the great auctions sales that DealDash offers such as “Free Auction Day” and “Half-Price Auction Day.” In my early days of bidding on DealDash  I would purchase smaller bid packs when I ran out instead of waiting for a low-priced bid sale and buying bigger packs. This of course, is not very cost-effective! If you want to get the most for your money,  a better plan is to wait for a great sale on bid packs and buy the largest bid pack than to buy smaller bid packs whenever you run out and pay too much for them. I liken it to shopping at the supermarket – Why buy a 1 pound bag of rice for $3.99 when you can buy a 5 pound bag of rice for $7.99? Sure, it seems like the $3.99 bag is a better deal, but it’s really not. Buy in bulk, save money.

The last mistake that I would like to talk about today is bidding within your budget. When I first started I was bidding willy-nilly – on laptops, iPads, and more. Those things weren’t in my budget to BIN (Buy It Now) if I didn’t win, so it was foolish of me to throw away 100 bids here and there on something that I wasn’t truly committed to buying. That’s why they call DealDash entertainment shopping. Sure, you might win a 55″ TV for 100 bids, but it’s not likely. That’s why it’s a much smarter idea to only bid on BIG things like that if you are already planning on buying one anyway. That way, if you win for less than the retail price, AWESOME! And if you don’t happen to win, then you can just pay the retail price and get all of your bids back plus free shipping. It’s truly a win-win situation!
