One of my favorite types of toys for my kids are educational but fun toys such as the Leapfrog tablet that I won for my daughter on DealDash. There are educational toys for babies and toddler as well such as the Vtech Alphabet Activity Cube.

BIN (Which means Buy It Now) is the way to make sure that you’re never losing money and bids on DealDash, no matter what category that you’re bidding in. If you’re not familiar with the term, BINning an item means that you agree to pay the regular retail price for the item and in return, you will receive your bids back from DealDash.

All auctions are available for you to BIN, as long as you placed at least a bid before there was a winner. It doesn’t matter if you only placed a few bids or you’ve accidentally overbid. Simply pay the retail price and you’ll get every bid back as well as free shipping.

If you are interested in getting a child a present but you aren’t sure exactly what they would like, then a gift card would make an excellent present. As kids get older I find it really hard to keep up with which video games that they have – and I wouldn’t want to commit the “grave insult” of getting them a game that they already have. So I find that a gift card works especially well for older kids, say age 10 and up. DealDash has many gift cards to stores that have toys. Some examples are Toys R Us, Target, and Wal-Mart. Buying It Now (BIN) is a smart thing to do. After you’re done bidding in an auction, and realize that you won’t be the winner, then just hit the BIN button. After you have submitted your payment to DealDash, they will refund all of the bids that you spent on the auction. This is a great thing to plan on doing if you’re bidding on gift cards because the BIN price is simply the value of the card. No fees and no shipping costs!

Merry Christmas 2016 From DealDash!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Tomorrow is Christmas! It a beautiful and magical time of year.

This has been an amazing year for me personally and professionally, and I am so extremely grateful all year, but especially around Christmas time. DealDash has been a wonderful part of my life this year, and I thank them for putting on so many nice auctions, having such kind and thoughtful employees, and being an all-around great company.

The fact that DealDash offers us all the BIN (Buy It Now) feature is a blessing, because when you use the BIN feature you get all of your bids back after purchasing the item that you are interested in, so you can bid with no risk. It’s an amazing feeling to win an auction, but it’s an even better feeling to know that you can participate in DealDash auctions and not lose any money.

Last Minute Toys for Christmas

The time to shop for Christmas is quickly drawing to a close. However, if you hurry you can win last-minute toys!

I know that there are a few last-minute shoppers out there. After taking a quick poll at my part-time job the other day it seems like I am the only one who has gotten all of their shopping and wrapping taken care of. Shopping for kids can be the most fun experience of the year, even if you are a little bit behind. There’s still time to win toys on DealDash, and if you pay today you will receive them in time for Christmas! There are some exceptions, of course, but most items can be delivered in time for Santa to leave them under the tree.

What is the perfect last-minute gift for girls or boys? Legos! There are Legos of every color and so many different sets that encompass so many different interests of boys, girls, and both. Either gender can enjoy tie-ins to popular movies, video games, and TV shows such as Angry Birds, Ghostbusters, and Elves. If the child you’re shopping for is too young for regular Legos try the Duplo blocks. Around my house we call them “Baby Legos.” DealDash has both types – Lego and Duplo – up for auction.

Another great last-minute toy idea is ride-on cars! Toddlers on up through early elementary-aged kids love these. My niece has a ride-on car that looks like a little VW Bug, it’s adorable! My niece rides hers around the basement, as it’s too cold to drive it around outside now.

If you would like to drop toys off, there are many Toys For Tots donation drop offs. You can look them up online, and if you drop the toys off, you don’t even have to wrap them! If you would like to donate to older children or teens who aren’t interested in toys, you can always buy clothing or toiletries and give them to your local DSS/DCFS/Social Services offices so that they can distribute them to the kids and teens that are in foster care.
