The BidBuddy is your auto bidder in the auction. Each auction has a built-in bidder for you to use to help you bid on the auction. Every auction has one, and every bidder can use it. That’s what makes everything fair and honest for everyone.

Simply input the number of bids that you would like to spend on the auction, and hit “Book A BidBuddy.” The BidBuddy will bid for you until it runs out of bids. You can cancel the BidBuddy or add more bids at any time. Almost all auctions are won with the BidBuddy, so it’s a wise move to learn how to use it in the auctions.

You Won a DealDash Auction, Now What?

You’ve won an auction on DealDash, now what? Here are the next steps to follow.

When you win a DealDash auction you will see some triumphant fireworks. When you see those fireworks you know that you’re the winner! Yay! Congratulations! If you won with the BidBuddy and you aren’t at your computer when you win, then DealDash will send you an email and the fireworks will be inside to surprise and delight you.

Pay for Your Auction

After you win, it’s time to pay the final auction value. Simply go to your DealDash dashboard and click on the “Won Auctions” tab. There you will find any auctions that you have won that have an outstanding balance on them. Just click on the “Pay” button and you will be taken to the payment screen. You can choose to pay with credit, debit, or even Paypal.

Occasionally DealDash has an amazing promotion that makes your final auction value 1 penny. They call it “free” auctions, the 1 penny is a transaction fee. So even if you win an auction during a free auction day, be sure to do to your dashboard and pay the 1 penny so DealDash can ship out your item.

If You Didn’t WIN, Then BIN

There will be many times that you don’t win the auction that you have been bidding on. That’s okay because you can still get all of your bids by buy Buying It Now (BIN). Just go to your dashboard and you will see the “Open buy it now offers.” You will see the name of the product, how long you have left to BIN the auction, and how many bids you will receive back when you purchase the item.

As with a winning auction, just click on the “Pay” button and you will be taken to the payment screen. You can choose to pay with credit, debit, or even Paypal, exactly the same as if you had won. Upon the completion of your payment, DealDash will refund all of the bids that you spent on the auction. You can use them again right away, or save them for another day.

Shipping and Tracking

DealDash guarantees free shipping on all items on the site, including both WINs and BINs. Every item will arrive brand new, in the original box, and covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

After your item ships, you will be able to track it on your dashboard. This is only true for goods, not gift cards unless the value of the gift card is over $250. The Bidding Basics Of How Deal Dash Works

1. You need to buy bids before you can bid in the auctions. The normal price of bids is 60¢ per bid however DealDash has regular discount sales where you can buy bids anywhere from 15 to 20 cents per bid. For example you can get 200 bids for $30.00 (breaks down to 15¢ per bid).

2. Auctions start off at $0.00 (no reserve price) and each bid placed increases the final selling price of the auction by 1 penny.

Example: the auction begins at $0.00 and 1 bid is placed, the price of the auction goes to $0.01, another bid is placed by someone else and the price goes to $0.02. With each bid placed the auction clock is reset to 10 seconds and begins counting down allowing the opportunity for someone else to place a bid if they want to. When no more bids are placed, the auction ends and sells to the highest bidder who becomes the winner!
