Because if they auction is down to just 2 or 3 people and it has almost reached the $5 No Jumper Limit then those few people feel kind of an “ownership” over this particular auction and probably won’t let it go without a fight.
I have seen many people say that they will overbid past the BIN (Buy It Now) because they know that the person who just joined the auction will most likely bid for a while. Bidding past the BIN price is risky, but some people just can’t resist trying to rack up more “clock time” with the TATHB (Time As The Highest Bidder) perk.
Not Letting Your Buddy Help
