Want Bids Back? BIN and Receive Your Bids

Finding what you want on DealDash is fun, but we can’t win all the time. However, you can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get your bids back from the auction. To BIN an auction means that you pay retail price for the thing that you didn’t win, and you receive back all of the bids that you placed to use again, as well as free shipping on the product. It doesn’t matter what the price of the auction is, or how many bids that you spent, you can do a BIN on any DealDash item as long as you have placed at least one bid. When you don’t win an auction, BINning is the next best option.

Hey New DealDash Bidders! Read This!

dealdashHey new bidders! Read this article with some tips, tricks, and ideas to get you started on DealDash.

Is today your first day on DealDash? Welcome to the best bidding site around! DealDash is also what is called an “Entertainment Shopping” website, which means that you can play around and have fun on the site, but you can also order some great products as well. If you’re not familiar with all of the inner-workings of DealDash, then please do read on to get more information and some tips on how to use the site effectively.

What is a DealDash Bid?

For starters, DealDash is what’s known as a “Pay to bid” site. The way this works is you buy the bids before you are ready to bid, and then use the bids as you like on different auctions.

You can place as few as 1 bid on an auction, all the way up to as many bids as you have purchased. So in other words, if you were to buy a pack of 100 bids you can place 1 bid on 100 auctions, all 100 bids on 1 auction, or anything in between. With DealDash, it’s up to you how you would like to spend your bids.

What is the Price of Bids and Auctions?

When you first sign up with DealDash, you need to buy your first bid pack. The bids are usually discounted, around .12-.15 per bid.

The auctions are a different story. They might be full price, half price, or even free! It all depends on if DealDash is running a special promotion that day or not.

  • If the auction is full price, then the final auction fee will be whatever number that the auction ends at – it could be as low as 1 penny if there was only one bidder, or it could get up into hundreds of dollars if it’s a more expensive item like a TV or computer.
  • If the auction is half price, it means that whatever the final auction fee is listed, it will be half of that price. DealDash often runs half off promotions.
  • If the auction is free, it means that there is no final auction fee charged. You will just be charged .01 as a processing fee.

BIN it or WIN it!

You might remember earlier in this article when I mentioned that DealDash is an Entertainment Shopping website. Essentially, what this means, is that you can bid on items on DealDash, have a good time, and if you don’t win then you can buy the item at retail price and get back all of your bids.

Say you’re bidding on an item for your home. If you aren’t the winner of the auction then you are eligible to do a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” on the auction. When you BIN the item for the retail price you get every single one of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. When you don’t win an auction it just makes sense to do a BIN and receive your bids back. This way you can use them all over again in a different auction. Give it a try!

What DealDash Strategy are You Using Today?

DealDash

Do you have a “tried and true” strategy that you like to use on DealDash? Let’s look at some different strategies down below.

What kind of strategy do you like to employ when you’re using DealDash? There are many different ways to use and enjoy DealDash Do you like to change up your bidding strategies on DealDash so that you can confuse the competition? You don’t have to, of course, you can bid in the exact same way every time if you like, but why not try something new?

Relax and Have Fun

I think that one of the best strategies to use is to calm down, relax, and have fun. It seems like some of the bidders are a little tense and not enjoying their shopping entertainment experience as much as they could. DealDash is supposed to be a fun and entertaining experience, so treat it like one! Put up an avatar picture that makes you happy, write a bidder bio that includes a joke or a favorite quote, and relax while you bid.

Bid Smart – Not Chaotic

Are you one of those bidders on DealDash that like to peck around, bidding a little bit here and a little bit there? Perhaps you should slow down and do some serious consideration before bidding. This will save you bids in the long run, because even if you’re bidding just 10 bids here and 10 bids there, it really tends to add up. You have to think “Do I really want this item? Would I buy it if I saw it in the store? How about if it was on sale, would I buy it then?” If the answer is “no”, then why are you wasting bids on it, even if it’s just a small amount? Save those bids for something that you are super excited about?

If You Really want it…BIN!

Finally, the reason why you should only bid on stuff that you genuinely want is that you will have the opportunity to BIN (Buy It Now) at the end of the auction if you don’t win.

Thus, remember, if you aren’t the winner of the auction that you have been participating in, you are eligible to do a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” on the auction. When you purchase the item for the retail price you get every single one of the bids back that you placed. You will even receive free shipping! When you don’t win an auction, BINning is the next best option, so be sure that you’re bidding on things that you’d really like to own.

Thinking Like a Seasoned DealDash Bidder

DealDashIf you want to win more DealDash auctions you should start thinking like a seasoned bidder

Even if you’re a newbie that just joined DealDash today, you should start thinking like a seasoned bidder. There are some mistakes that most newbies make on DealDash that you can avoid by trying out this strategy. Read on for more information about thinking like a seasoned bidder on DealDash.

Figure Out How Dealdash Works

DealDash, while fairly self-explanatory to get started on, has many different features that you will want to learn how to use before you start bidding in earnest. For starters, DealDash runs on a “pay to bid” model. So if you want to participate in a DealDash auction, you will need to buy bids first. These bids come in packs of different amounts. DealDash is currently selling packs of 60, 300, 600, 1200, and 2400.

Don’t Bid on Just Anything

Now that you have a better understanding of how DealDash works and You’ve bought some bids, it’s time to browse. Seasoned bidders don’t bid on just anything that’s on the main auction screen. They take their time, do their research, and look through all of the upcoming auctions in their favorite categories.

Buy Bids on Sale

Another thing that seasoned bidders on DealDash know is not to buy bids when they are above .15! DealDash bids can range anywhere in price from .12 each all the way up to .60 each. However, they are frequently on sale for .13, .14, and .15. Why in the world would you buy a 2400 pack of bids at .18 each when you can get them for .13 a piece? That is literally a savings of $120!!! Wouldn’t you rather wait a few days and get such a great deal? That’s how a seasoned bidder thinks, and so should you!

BidBuddy is the Way to Bid

Seasoned bidders on DealDash know that the best way to bid is by using the BidBuddy. When I first started on DealDash I didn’t understand how the BidBuddy worked and I lost quite a few auctions by clicking too slowly while I was bidding.

The BidBuddy is available on every auction, and it doesn’t cost anything to use.  If you’d like to use the BidBuddy just open up a DealDash auction that you’re interested in winning. On the screen, you will see a space and a button that says “Book a Bid Buddy”. Click on the space that says “add bids here” and put in the number of bids that you are willing to spend on this particular DealDash auction. Then hit enter to get him started.

Seasoned bidders use the BidBuddy because they know that their internet could fail at any moment, the power could go out, the computer could start updating itself without warning, or any other number of reasons.

Reasons to BIN When You Don’t WIN

DealDash

If you’re not Buying It Now (BIN) when you don’t win, you’re missing out.

Have you been using the BIN feature on DealDash? You should, because Buying It Now is almost as good as winning the auction. I will explain more down below. However, know that doing a BIN on an auction that you don’t win will take the “sting” out of losing. To find out more about Buying It Now, read on down below.

BIN? What’s That Mean?

BIN is one of the best ideas that DealDash has ever come up with. There is no restriction on who can Buy It Now, other than the fact that you have to have placed at least one bid on that auction. Thus, it’s offered to every bidder in every auction, not just to the first few as I have seen on some other bidding sites. With BIN, you can purchase the item at the retail price that is listed on each and every auction page. Then, DealDash will return all of the bids that you spent on the auction to your bid bank.

Should I Always BIN?

If you’re wondering if you should BIN an auction or not, then you probably should! However, you don’t want to just guess if it makes good financial sense. You just need to do a little math to see how many bids that need to be placed before you reach the retail price.

This is easy to calculate, especially if DealDash is running a Free Auction Weekend promotion. Simply take the retail price of the item and divide it by the amount that you spent on each bid. The answer that you get is the amount of bids that you would need to spend to break even on the auction. For example, if you are bidding on a $100 item and you paid .15 per bid, your break even point would be 667 bids.

If it is not a day when DealDash is running a Free Auction promotion, then you need to estimate how much the auction will end at, and do your calculations from that. For example, if you do a little research and see that the sale $100 item typically ends for a final auction price of 10, then you need to take off that $10 before you do your calculations, so your break even price in this situation would be 600 bids.

If you end up spending the number of bids that you have previously calculated and you still haven’t won the auction, that’s when you know it’s time to BIN the auction. Don’t worry, though, because you will get every single bid that you spent returned to your account when you BIN the item. You will also get free shipping, Free shipping is something that DealDash offers on every item.
