Getting Overwhelmed on DealDash? Here’s Help!

DealDash

If you feel like you’re getting overwhelmed on DealDash, no problem. Just take a step back and read this article.

DealDash doesn’t want you to feel overwhelmed when you’re bidding. DealDash wants you to bid responsibly and have a great time in the auctions. Sometimes, especially when you’re a newbie, it’s easy to get confused and overwhelmed with all of the different auctions and promotions that are going on at any given time. DealDash wants you to enjoy your shopping entertainment experience to the fullest extent. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash to keep you from getting overwhelmed.

Familiarize Yourself With the Rules

There are really only a few rules on DealDash, but to avoid making any mistakes that might put your account in jeopardy. There are just a couple things to remember. There is only one bidding account per household, and you are not allowed to bid in any auctions that other people that you know are bidding in. For a full list of the rules, just click this link right here. Once you have familiarized yourself with the rules, it will make things more clear and you’ll be less likely to get overwhelmed.

Set Bidding Limits for Yourself

Another way that you can keep yourself from getting overwhelmed is setting bidding limits for yourself for each auction, and not “cheating.” Setting reasonable bidding limits for yourself makes a whole lot of sense when you’re a new bidder and trying not to get overwhelmed. If you have a hard time sticking to limits that you set for yourself, then your BidBuddy will be your best friend. The BidBuddy is available on every auction on DealDash, and you can just put your bids in and turn off your computer. This is a way to assure that you won’t go over your limit and get yourself feeling overwhelmed.

Buying It Now (BIN)

BIN (Which means Buy It Now) is an excellent way to make sure that you don’t get overwhelmed when bidding in an auction. Remember when I suggested sticking to a bidding limit on each auction? Well, if you get a little carried away and bid more than your limit – don’t worry. You can always BIN the item so you don’t get that overwhelmed feeling when you realized that you spent too many bids on a particular item.

BINning an item means that you agree to pay the full retail price for the item and in return, you will receive your bids back from DealDash. All auctions are availible for you to BIN, as long as you placed at least a bid before there was a winner.

How is there no monetary risk? Luckily, DealDash is a progressive auction site and has come up with the brilliant solution of Buy It Now. Buy It Now is referred to as “BIN” by DealDash, and is really a lifesaver if you feel that you’ve bid over your budget. DealDash Heroes: Nurses

DealDashWelcome to the newest DealDash series, DealDash Heroes! Today we are going to be talking a little bit about nurses.

Everyone has been in contact with a nurse at some time or another, and while they aren’t typically categorized as a “hero”, I believe that they are. These men and women are the calm and compassionate forces that help us feel better when we’re sick or hurt. Here is a little bit more information about nurses, and their importance in our lives.

 History of Nursing

There have, of course, been nurses practically since the beginning of time. There are records all the way back from the year 300 A.D, with people assisting doctors in surgery and patient care. However, nurses really came into their own in 1860, when Florence Nightingale opened the first nursing school. Florence Nightingale was known as one of the most popular and beloved nurses in history.

Nursing became an extremely popular profession during WW2. Many, many thousands of women volunteered to go overseas and become nurses to our injured soldiers. This is when nurses really began to be called heroes.

What Types of Nurses are There?

There are dozens and dozens of different types of nurses. Some you have probably heard of, such as school nurses and operating room nurses. There are probably many other types of nurses that you didn’t even know existed such as nurse anesthetists and forensic nurses. There are different levels of education and degrees that a nurse can achieve such as LPN, RN, BSN, and MSN.

Things That Nurses Do

Nurses do hundreds of things daily, such as take information from patients, check vital signs, administer medications, and give comfort to patients. Nurses can do almost all of the things that doctors can do (barring surgery!), and in fact, my own children typically see a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor when they have a regular appointment.

My personal favorite type of nurse that I have come in contact with is labor and delivery nurses. Each time that I have been in the hospital to have my babies it’s been the nurses who have kept me company, gotten me ice chips and blankets, and helped me during birth, and even after birth. The doctor might have been the one who delivered my babies, but the nurses were the people that I shared my fears and joys with. For all of you current, future, and retired nurses out there – thank you for all that you do!

Enjoy the DealDash Difference

DealDashHave you ever noticed that DealDash really “isn’t like the others”? DealDash is different, unique, and the best!

DealDash is a one-in-a-million sort of website. There are other pay-to-bid sites, of course, but DealDash has been around the longest. Not only have they been around the longest, but they are special, and not like the other websites out there. They are not a “fly by night” kind of site. DealDash has been in business for 8 years, and still going strong.

How Does DealDash Stack Up?

If you’ve ever bid on any of the other pay-to-bid sites, then you are probably used to saying “Bye Bye, Bids!” Unfortunately, on most of the other sites, as soon as you spend those bids, they’re gone. Luckily, DealDash has found a solution for that. On every auction, all losing bidders are given an option to BIN (Buy It Now). Buying It Now means that any bidder who bid in an auction for any item can buy it for the retail price and receive back all of the bids that they spent.

Having the ability to BIN an auction instead of losing all of the bids was a huge step forward in the “pay to bid” auction world. Since DealDash has implemented the BIN option a few other sites have tried to copy the idea, however, they typically don’t give you all of your bids back. They give a portion back, but they charge for shipping, so it’s actually kind of a wash. DealDash is clearly superior with their BIN option and free shipping on every item on the site.

DealDash Gives Free Bids Out!

Finally, DealDash is unique because they like to give gifts – free bids. Did you know that you can get free bids for simply visiting DealDash? I know that sounds a little crazy, but it’s true! DealDash will give you between 4-30 bids, every single day, just for visiting and placing at least one bid.

You can also receive free bids for being the highest bidder in a DealDash auction. When you bid, your time clock meter starts filling up with green when you are the highest bidder. This means that for every second that you are the highest bidder, you’re earning free bids. Isn’t that amazing? Once your little green meter at the bottom of your screen has been filled up, you will be credited with free bids.

DealDash Customer Service is #1!

DealDash

Don’t ever be afraid to contact DealDash customer service. They are there to help!

DealDash hopes that all of their transactions go smoothly, but occasionally there might be a problem. However, there is no problem too big for DealDash customer service! They have heard it all, and they are happy to help you if you have any problems or questions about the site. They are ready to help you, day or night. Just contact them if you need a hand!

Having a Problem?

The main time that most people contact customer service is when they have a problem. Maybe you are having trouble with using PayPal on the site, or perhaps you don’t even have a PayPal account and you are curious how it works. There are also times that your delivery might be delayed, or not show up. This isn’t typically a problem, though, because all things that you win or BIN on DealDash come with tracking numbers, with the exception of smaller gift cards. No matter what your problem is, don’t be shy, just contact DealDash customer service and they will help you find a solution.

Are You New and Totally Confused?

You don’t have to have a specific problem to contact customer service. If you’re new on DealDash and just don’t understand how it works, then customer service can help you with that, as well. There are many resources to help you understand how the auctions work, such as this blog and the DealDash Tips blog. There are also videos and an interactive tutorial. However, sometimes it’s easier to understand something when someone explains it to you step-by-step, and if you contact DealDash customer service, they can do just that.

Have a Suggestion for the Site?

Customer service isn’t just for problems and questions. They are also there to take your ideas and suggestions as well. Do you have an idea for a product that you haven’t seen offered yet on DealDash? Or maybe you think that there needs to be more of a certain category and less of another category? Do you have a fun idea for a DealDash contest? If you have a great idea, tip, or suggestion, then please contact customer service and they would be happy to hear you out.

Are You Unsure How to Get in Touch?

It’s easy to contact DealDash customer service. All you have to do to get in touch is go to the “Help” section on the main page of the site, then go to their “submit a request for assistance form” button. If you need instant help or you just don’t feel like waiting a few hours for a reply, then you can click the “Live Support Online” button.

Personally, I prefer the “submit a request for assistance form”, however, I have never had a problem that I needed immediate assistance. Many people are a fan of the live chat feature, and once you click the “Live Support Online”, you will be connected with a friendly DealDash customer service rep almost immediately. Once you’re connected, then you can work on solving your problem.
