By now you’ve all seen me try and educate everyone on how to win more auctions on DealDash. However, winning on DealDash is great, but winning with FREE bids is even better. Here are a few ways to take advantage of the free bids that DealDash offers.

The easiest way to get free bids on DealDash is to bid! That’s right, just bid, bid, bid, and eventually you will get free bids from DealDash. How does it work? If you look down at the bottom of your screen You will see your bidder name, your bids you have banked, your level, and then your “Time as the highest bidder” meter. When you are the highest bidder in any auction your meter starts filling up with green. Once your meter is completely filled you will get free bids! It’s that simple! As soon as your bid meter has been filled your account will automatically be credited with free bids. You will then move onto the next level and get another empty bid meter to fill up to get more free bids. The more auctions you enter and the more you bid, the faster you will fill up your meter and get free bids.

Another super simple and easy way to get free bids is by your posting your winning photos to DealDash’s Facebook account. If you would like to participate in posting your winning photos to Facebook, here is the link to “Like” DealDash on Facebook. You not only get free bids for every photo, but you also get entered in for a chance win 1,000 bids! The 1,000 bids are awarded weekly for the best photo. Learn about how you can claim your free bids here. It only takes a few minutes to post a photo, and you are always rewarded. It’s win-win!

Free is the best, but cheap is good as well – be sure to check DealDash every morning to find out how much the bids are priced at for the day. Some days they go as low as .12!! Now that’s a deal!

Being a new bidder on DealDash can feel a little intimidating at first. There are so many acronyms, bidders, and items it can feel a little overwhelming at first.

First things first – welcome to DealDash! DealDash is an awesome shopping entertainment website that is not only fun, but a great way to get deals for yourself and your family. Getting started is easy, but figuring out how the website works can take a little getting used to, including some “watching and learning” as you go. Here are some quick tips to get you up and running.

Buy bids. Buying bids is easy, you can pay with a credit card or even with Paypal. The bid packs are available in different sizes. Right now they have packs of 60, 300, 600, 1200, and 2400. The price of the bids changes daily, it’s a good practice to check the price of the bids every morning so you can keep it in mind for your budget. You may think that you have time to buy bids during an auction, but you just never know. Be prepared, be stocked up on bids!
Be sure to go to your profile and pick out an avatar, or upload your own. You can choose almost anything you like as your avatar, but please remember that Uploaded images are subject to approval and may not be immediately visible on the site. In my experience it usually takes a few hours (and sometimes longer) for your picture to be approved. Also please note that the file format must be JPG and not bigger than 3MB. Your uploaded image will be resized to 46 x 58 pixels. If you are so inclined you might want to resize your image yourself before you upload it, so you can be sure that it doesn’t get stretched out or pixelated when it’s uploaded.
Learn how to BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win the auction. When you BIN an auction you simply pay the retail price that is listed on each and every auction right above the picture of the auction. If you find yourself paying as much in bids as the item costs, it’s smart to drop out of the auction and BIN the item. You will get the item, free (fast!) shipping, and all of your bids back to use on another auction. Your bids are credited back once you have paid for the item, so you can re-use them as soon as you like, or save them for another day.

Being a great bidder on DealDash is easy, it just takes a little time, knowledge, and willingness to BIN!

If you have enough bidding power to BIN, then you can bid confidently, and that will shine through, and people will begin to recognize your name as someone who’s willing to “go all the way” in an auction. It’s a great thing to be known as a bidder who will bid until the BIN price, because if someone recognizes your name and isn’t willing to bid until BIN price, they will usually drop out of the auction.

It just isn’t feasible to bid one-by-one if you are participating in an auction that is likely to last for hours or even days. Personally, I only bid on auctions that I am willing to BIN, that way I am not losing any money if I lose the auction. I love the BIN feature on DealDash, because it’s like an insurance policy for your bids.

A Stomper is a person who bids immediately after another person bids, therefore cheating them out of their “clock time” as the highest bidder. This is a valid strategy that’s usually built on intimidation, but it isn’t usually a good one due to it making the other bidders angry. However, if you are the type of person who likes to “go against the grain”, then feel free to try this strategy out.
