Oops…I Made a DealDash Mistake

DealDash MistakeDon’t worry, everyone makes mistakes. If you want to avoid DealDash mistakes, then read on for some helpful advice…

Making a mistake on DealDash isn’t typically a huge deal. You might lose out on a few bids, or you may end up frustrated, but in general a DealDash mistake is okay. Do you know why? Because it can always be turned into a learning experience to make yourself a better bidder, and that’s a good thing. Look on the positive side, stay excited, and bid on DealDash.

When Are You Bidding?

A big DealDash mistake that I see happening all the time is people are swamping the site during the peak bidding times. If you’re bidding on Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday between around Noon-8PM you’re going to have a difficult time. These are some of the busiest times on DealDash, and it can be really difficult to snag an awesome deal. It can be done, of course, but not as easily.

If you have been making this DealDash mistake, not to worry. There is a very easy solution – bid during the off hours! If you can find auctions that you’re interested in winning in the super early AM, or perhaps when most people are at work, then you should bid on those. No, you don’t have to stay up late or call out of work! Just set up your BidBuddy.

Not Using Your BidBuddy

Speaking of the BidBuddy, if you’re not using him, that’s a major mistake! You DO know how to use the BidBuddy, right? It’s easy! The first thing that you will need to do is pick an auction to bid on. After that, then just input the number of bids that you are willing to spend on it in the BidBuddy box, and click the “Book a BidBuddy” button. It’s the best way to be able to bid on auctions when you can’t be online, and it’s perfect for bidding on auctions during non-peak times when you’re busy with other things.

DealDash Has the Fairest Auctions

DealDash Fair AuctionsHave you ever bid in an unfair auction online? You don’t have to worry with DealDash’s fair and honest auctions.

DealDash is the longest running shopping entertainment site on the internet. They have been around for close to a decade, and they have built up a loyal customer base. DealDash prides itself on being the fairest auction site around. Unlike some of the other auction sites, DealDash does not use bots. All of the players on DealDash are real people just like you and me. Auctions can be unpredictable, just like people! Here are some tips and tricks to enjoy the fair auctions on DealDash.

How Do I Get Started?

It’s easy and free to open a DealDash account. You can sign up in about 2 minutes with your name and email address. After that, you can pick your username. Once you have registered your account then it’s time to purchase a bid pack.

Did you know that your initial bid pack is covered by the DealDash 100% satisfaction guarantee? This means that if you are dissatisfied with DealDash for any reason you can contact the friendly folks at DealDash customer service and they will refund the price of your first bid pack to your credit card. This offer is only good for your first bid pack purchase, so please keep that in mind.

How Do I Start Bidding?

Bidding is easy and very fun.  First, you can find an item you want to bid on by browsing through our auctions on the home page, checking out the multiple categories, or doing a search. You can type in whatever you would like to bid on in the search bar located on the upper right-hand side of the homepage. When you have found an item that you’d like to bid on, just click on the item’s icon and open up the individual auction page.

Where Do I bid?

It’s a newbie mistake to bid directly from the home screen. However, you can if you would like. The reason that this is a rookie mistake is because you can’t see all of the helpful information that is located on each item and description’s page.

Once you are ready to bid, simply click the “BID NOW” button. This will place one single bid on the item that you’re interested in. If you’re committed to winning this action, you’ll want to use your BidBuddy to bid for you.

Who is the BidBuddy?

The BidBuddy is your auto bidder in the auction. Each auction has a built-in bidder for you to use to help you bid on the auction. Every auction has one, and every bidder can use it. That’s what makes everything fair and honest for everyone.

Simply input the number of bids that you would like to spend on the auction, and hit “Book A BidBuddy.” The BidBuddy will bid for you until it runs out of bids. You can cancel the BidBuddy or add more bids at any time. Almost all auctions are won with the BidBuddy, so it’s a wise move to learn how to use it in the auctions.

Let’s Bake, DealDash Style!

DealDash Bakes

Baking is a fun and delicious hobby you can share with your family. DealDash has everything you need to get started.

Baking with your family, especially your children or grandchildren can be a very rewarding hobby. There’s nothing like making memories with the people that you love the most. Who loves to bake? Everyone from Grannies to Aunties to kids and everyone in-between. Baking is a wonderful hobby because you get to eat the results! What are your favorite DealDash kitchen supplies? Personally, I love my KitchenAid stand mixer. They come in all different colors – I have pink!

You’ll Need Some Baking Pans

If you’re planning on making cakes, cookies, muffins, or just about anything in the oven you’re going to need some baking pans, cookie sheets, and muffin tins. DealDash has many different pans for you to choose from, just pick which ones that you feel that you’ll get the most use out of. Make a list of what types of pans you will need, and what sizes. Then, you can do a search on DealDash and find exactly what you’re looking for.

Get ALL of the Gadgets

Perhaps classic baking just isn’t your style. That’s okay, too, no judgment here. If that’s your situation, no problem! DealDash has tons of fun cooking gadgets that you can win. There are bread makers, toaster ovens, pizza box ovens, waffle makers, and even a mini cupcake maker up for bid on DealDash!

The mini cupcake maker makes seven cupcakes at a time, and is so adorable! This would be the absolute perfect little gadget if you want to start a tradition of baking with your kids or grandkids. All kids love little and cute things – and cupcakes!

Bid on Things You Will BIN

One of the great things about bidding on gear for the kitchen is if you don’t win then you can just BIN (Buy It Now) because they don’t tend to be very expensive. For example, the mini cupcake maker that I was telling you about above has a retail price of just $58. For most people, $58 won’t break the budget too badly, and it’s a good purchase since you’ll get a lot of use out of it. If you are bidding on a kitchen gadget and you don’t win, simply pay the retail price by BINning it, and you’ll get all of your bids back to use again! Thanks, DealDash!

Let’s Not Make These Mistakes on DealDash

DealDash newbie mistakes

There’s no “right” way to bid on DealDash, but there are definitely some wrong ways! Avoid some common mistakes with these tips.

If you are a new DealDash bidder, don’t worry, it’s really easy to get started on DealDash with very little “hard thinking” to do. However, there is a little bit of thinking and planning to do if you want to put your best foot forward and start winning auctions. You’ll need to do a little thinking ahead, planning, and making strategic decisions to avoid making some common mistakes. Here are some ideas and tips from DealDash to help you.

Don’t Get Overwhelmed

Being a new bidder on DealDash can be a little overwhelming. There are so many different auctions, bidders, things to learn, and blinking lights that it can get a little confusing at first. Don’t worry, there are some things that DealDash has implemented to help out new and old bidders alike. The easiest way to not get overwhelmed is to have a firm game plan when you are using the website. Stick to your plan, bid with thought, and be prepared. Those are all things that you will need to keep in mind to help yourself not get too overwhelmed when using DealDash.

Make a Plan, Set Alerts

When you first start bidding on DealDash, a big mistake would be to just start bidding on anything and everything, regardless if you’re really interested in it or not. The best way to avoid this mistake is to set alerts on the things that you really, really want. It’s easy to set an alert on DealDash.

Look through the future auctions (or do a search) on DealDash, and find some that you are interested in bidding on. If there isn’t a starting time listed it means that this is a product that DealDash carries, but there isn’t an auction for this item scheduled yet. You’ll need to set an alert for this auction, don’t worry, it’s easy to do! Just click the button that says “Alert me” and DealDash will send you a quick email when they have scheduled an auction for this item. Easy!

Don’t Be Afraid to BIN an Item

Do you know what BINning an item means? To BIN means to “Buy It Now.” When you BIN an item, you simply pay the retail price of the item and you will get all of your bids back! Yup, it’s that easy! When you have decided that you’re not going to win a particular auction, just stop bidding and hit the “Buy It Now” button. After you’ve paid the retail price for the auction DealDash will immediately credit your account back with all of the bids that you spent on that auction. They will then send out your item with free shipping and tracking (unless it’s a gift card), just like you had won the auction. It would be a huge mistake not to BIN an item that you have lost.

DealDash Does Bookmarking and Alerts

Image result for dealdashAre you getting all of the items possible on DealDash? If you’re not bookmarking and using alerts then you could be winning more!

Have you seen the bookmarking and alert features on DealDash? DealDash has made it easy for you to know when all of your favorite auctions are coming up. You’re missing a lot of great auctions if you aren’t using the DealDash “Bookmarking” and “Alert Me” features.

Getting DealDash Alerts is Easy

Every item that you see on DealDash has been available previously, is currently available, or will be available in the future. If you search for a particular item and it is listed but there isn’t a starting time it means that this product isn’t up for auction right now. However, don’t fret, because you can always set an alert for yourself.

“How can I get alerts?” you might ask – it’s simple and just takes a second of your time. All you have to do is click the button that says “Alert me” and DealDash will send you an email when DealDash has scheduled an auction for this item. DealDash will alert you when the auction is starting within a couple of days, and then again when the auction is starting within a couple of hours.

No matter what you search for, you can set a DealDash alert. For example, a few months ago I decided that I wanted to buy an automatic litter box. There wasn’t currently an auction for the litter box, so I set an alert. True to their word, DealDash sent me an email and let me know when there was an automatic litter box preparing to start. Sadly, I didn’t end up winning that auction – but I did BIN (Buy It Now) it!

How Do I Bookmark an Auction?

DealDash has thousands and thousands of unique items up for auction every single day, seven days per week. Bookmarking is a quick and easy click of a button that will save you from the disappointment of missing a great DealDash auction.

If you’re anything like me, you probably do a lot of browsing on DealDash. When you are browsing and see an item that is coming up just bookmark it! Just click on the little outline of a star in the upper right corner of the auction and you’re good to go! The little star will turn solid, and the auction will now be pinned to your DealDash home page. Easy peasy!
