You Won a DealDash Auction, Now What?

You’ve won an auction on DealDash, now what? Here are the next steps to follow.

When you win a DealDash auction you will see some triumphant fireworks. When you see those fireworks you know that you’re the winner! Yay! Congratulations! If you won with the BidBuddy and you aren’t at your computer when you win, then DealDash will send you an email and the fireworks will be inside to surprise and delight you.

Pay for Your Auction

After you win, it’s time to pay the final auction value. Simply go to your DealDash dashboard and click on the “Won Auctions” tab. There you will find any auctions that you have won that have an outstanding balance on them. Just click on the “Pay” button and you will be taken to the payment screen. You can choose to pay with credit, debit, or even Paypal.

Occasionally DealDash has an amazing promotion that makes your final auction value 1 penny. They call it “free” auctions, the 1 penny is a transaction fee. So even if you win an auction during a free auction day, be sure to do to your dashboard and pay the 1 penny so DealDash can ship out your item.

If You Didn’t WIN, Then BIN

There will be many times that you don’t win the auction that you have been bidding on. That’s okay because you can still get all of your bids by buy Buying It Now (BIN). Just go to your dashboard and you will see the “Open buy it now offers.” You will see the name of the product, how long you have left to BIN the auction, and how many bids you will receive back when you purchase the item.

As with a winning auction, just click on the “Pay” button and you will be taken to the payment screen. You can choose to pay with credit, debit, or even Paypal, exactly the same as if you had won. Upon the completion of your payment, DealDash will refund all of the bids that you spent on the auction. You can use them again right away, or save them for another day.

Shipping and Tracking

DealDash guarantees free shipping on all items on the site, including both WINs and BINs. Every item will arrive brand new, in the original box, and covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

After your item ships, you will be able to track it on your dashboard. This is only true for goods, not gift cards unless the value of the gift card is over $250. If you’d like to see your tracking number on your item, just log-in to your dashboard and click on the “My Orders” tab and you will see all of your orders.

Sometimes it’s hard to trust things on the internet. You don’t have to worry with DealDash’s fair and honest auctions.

DealDash has hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers. They have built up a loyal customer base since they got started in the auction business in 2009. DealDash prides itself on being one of the only auction sites around that is completely fair and transparent. There are absolutely zero bots on DealDash. Each one of those bidders that you are competing against are real people just like you. Are you excited to get started and start winning?

It’s Easy to Get Started

Not only is it easy to get started, it’s also free to open a DealDash account. Just sign up with your name and email address, and you can pick a username. After you’ve opened up your free account you can purchase your first bid pack.

Signing up takes literally 2 minutes and it will open up your world to a whole new hobby. After purchasing your first bid pack you can check out which promotion is running that day. Bidding is simple and nothing to be intimidated by. Simply find an item you want to bid on by browsing through our auctions on the home page, checking out the categories, or doing a search. Once you have found an item that you’re interested in bidding on, just click on the picture and open up the individual auction page.

You never want to bid directly from the home screen (though you can if you so choose) because you can’t see all of the helpful information that is located on each individual item.

Once you’re ready, just click the “BID NOW” button. This will place a single bid on the item that you’re interested in. Now, you’re probably not going to win with a single bid, unless you are super lucky. You’ll want to use your BidBuddy to bid for you.

What is a BidBuddy?

The BidBuddy is your helping hand in the auction. Each auction has a built-in auto-bidder for you to use to help you win the auction. Every auction has one, and every bidder can use it. That’s what makes everything fair and honest for everyone.

Simply input the number of bids that you would like to spend on the auction, and hit “Book A BidBuddy.” The BidBuddy will bid for you, tirelessly, until it runs out of bids. You can cancel the BidBuddy or add more bids at any time.

Before you ask DealDash for help, though, be sure to read the informative “Tips and Tricks” section that you can see right at the top of the page when you visit DealDash. Just right here and the link will take you to a list of different informational subjects such as booking a BidBuddy, Buying It Now, seeing the winners, and other subjects.

It’s easy to find something that you want to win on DealDash by simply going to the home page and taking a look at what auctions are currently running. There are other ways to find exactly what you want, though. Here are some helpful tips and tricks to find (and win) exactly what you want on DealDash.

Search Using the Search Bar

The easiest way to get what you want in life is to ask for it. The way to ask DealDash for what you want is as simple as using the search bar on the home page. Using the search function on DealDash is fast and simple. Just type in whatever you’re looking for – from perfume to tools, and everything in-between. Get creative with your search terms and you never know what you might find on DealDash.

Browse Through the Categories

DealDash has seven different categories to explore. The categories currently offered are:

Need a Reminder? Set an Alert

If you find an item that you need on DealDash but it’s not currently on auction you are able to set an alert. Setting an alert takes approximately 2 seconds. Once you have found the item you have been searching for, click on the item, and look on the right side of the screen. There will be a blue button that says “Alert Me”. Click on the Alert Me button, and when the item is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email. Isn’t it nice that DealDash offers this solution for everyone?

Didn’t Win? BIN it for Bids Back

Using the BIN (Buy It Now) feature is the smart way to use DealDash. Do you know how BIN works? It’s simple. To BIN an auction means that you pay retail price for the thing that you didn’t win, and you receive back all of the bids that you placed to use again, as well as free shipping on the product. Since you have everything back that you originally started with, you break even. DealDash offers BIN on all items in their catalog of merchandise.

Winning More on DealDash

Are you winning as many auctions as you could be? Maybe you need to think about things differently. Here are some tips and tricks.

If you’re a regular on DealDash you probably have your bidding strategy down pat. However, everyone could use a little tweak here and there with their technique. Here are some things to think about to have you winning more auctions on DealDash!

Bid on Things That You Love

Occasionally I find myself on DealDash, just tossing in a few bids here and there, just because I can. Why do I bother doing that? Wouldn’t it make more sense for me to save my bids for something that I can actually use in my life or something that I really love?

Winning an auction for a few bids is always exciting, but if I don’t really need or want the item it’s a little pointless and a waste of bids. If you find yourself doing this, then you should really save your bids for something that makes you happy. Do know, however, that if you win an auction and you’re not really crazy about the item, you can trade it for bids. This makes a lot of sense to do if you win a very expensive auction for just a few bids.

Try Out a New Category

Typically people that bid on DealDash tend to stick to just a couple of categories, perhaps Bid Packs and Electronics & Computers. This is fine if you’re satisfied with the number of auctions that you are winning. However, if you want to win more auctions, then you need to branch out into other categories.

One of my personal favorite categories is the Gift Cards category. Gift cards are an excellent “safe” item to bid on, because if you end up losing the auction you can always BIN (Buy It Now) it, get your bids back that you spent on the gift card, AND get to keep your “time as highest bidder” earning you more bids to win an auction the next time around. Bidding on gift cards to earn clock time towards free bids is always an excellent idea. You can take the free bids that you win and turn them into even more auction wins!

Keep Your Head in the Game

Be sure that when you are playing on DealDash that you are giving it your full attention. Don’t have videos playing in another tab that you switch back and forth with, don’t get carried away with chatting on messenger – Stay focused and concentrate on the items that you are bidding on. If you can’t pay close attention to the auction, be sure that you load up your BidBuddy and let him bid for you. The BidBuddy will never let you down.
