Did you make any New Year’s resolutions for 2021? Many folks think that the beginning of the year is the perfect time to swear off junk food, join a gym, or take up a new hobby. All of those things are important, but it seems like some folks may not have their priorities straight! Whatever your resolutions are, hopefully you are still chasing your goals for 2021, and the futuristic version of yourself is emerging! But what about futuristic shopping? We share our birthday month with a lot of important historical figures including Galileo, Rosa Parks, and George Washington! It is coming this February and we have some big plans for our 12th birthday celebration. To begin with, a single day is not nearly enough time to celebrate our birthday, so we will be celebrating for a week, from February 22nd to February 28th! Coronavirus Charity Donation: Together We Can Help!

The COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak recently has shocked the whole world. Growing public health concerns present challenges for many families and affect businesses varyingly across the country. Today we are announcing a coronavirus charity donation to The American Red Cross taking place this Saturday. Similarly to the charity donation last October, we are donating the final sales price of all auction wins paid on Saturday 3/21/2020 to The American Red Cross(excluding car auctions). We also want to share that we expect DealDash shipments to continue unaffected. Overall, we want to continue providing fun and excitement to people staying at home and auctions will continue normally.

DealDash donation to American Red Cross takes place this week. Disaster can strike anyone of us even without warning. We want to continue our charity work with the American Red Cross and will donate the final sales price of all auction wins paid today (10/6/2019) to disaster relief just like we did last year.

DealDash 10 Years Anniversary Celebrations

10 Years of DealDash — DealDash celebrated 10 years of auctions in March 2019.

March was time to celebrate DealDash 10 years Anniversary. It marked the full decade of deals that DealDash has so far provided to its growing customer base. DealDash hosted an amazing celebration of fun and savings during the 10-year anniversary promotion last week! The highlights of this special promotion included:

Giving Back

As always, DealDash prides itself in giving back to local communities and also dedicated one day’s paid auctions to Disaster Relief charities on behalf of the DealDash family. On Friday 3/22, DealDash raised together with you, the customers, $9,301.32 that was donated in full to the American Red Cross for Disaster Relief.

If you’re looking for a place to donate your DealDash wins, that’s easy. Toys For Tots is a wonderful and worthy cause that will be happy to take your new and unwrapped toys. There are many Toys For Tots donation drop-offs. You can find a Toys For Tots drop-off location at Toysfortots.org.

Donating items to a family instead of just one child can be a nice thing to do as well. You can pick a family from the “Angel Tree” at your local mall or church. The Angel Tree donations are run by the Salvation Army. So if you’d like to donate to the Angel Tree program but can’t find a tree to pick from, then just look up your local Salvation Army’s website.

My personal favorite place to donate to during the holiday season is social services, the agency that takes care of foster children. On any given day, there are over 400,000 children in foster care in the United States. DealDash has not only toys, but also clothing, shoes, and grooming items, all of which could be very useful for a child or teen in foster care.
