The main way that you can keep yourself from getting in over your head is setting strict bidding limits for yourself for each auction, and sticking to them. If you say that you’re only going to spend 100 bids on a particular auction, and you know that you have a very fierce competitive spirit and it’s hard for you to stop bidding when you’re in the moment, simply input your 100 bid budget into your BidBuddy and walk away.
