Change Your DealDash Thinking Today

DealDash ThinkingTrying to think differently on DealDash is the smart thing to do. If you have been trying things the same way for a while change your thinking today!

Using your brain effectively is a big part of playing and winning auctions on DelDash. What sorts of bidding strategies do you like to use on DealDash? If you have hit a lull in your winning perhaps it’s time to change your thinking and your bidding strategies on DealDash. You don’t want any of your fellow bidders to get to know you and your bidding style too well. Here are some ways that you can try to think differently and act differently on DealDash.

Do Your Best Thinking in the Shower

Many people do their best thinking when they are in the shower. Maybe the next time that you are in the shower in the morning you’ll try to think up some great new strategies for playing on DealDash. Better yet, if you get up and shower a little earlier, you’ll have some time to check the auctions before you have to go about your day.

Think About BINning

If you’re pretty certain that you’re not going to win an auction that you’re in you’ll want to think about BINning (Buying It Now). Arriving at the decision that you’re going to buy the item at retail price and get all of your bids back can really take the weight of winning or losing off of your shoulders. If you enter the auction prepared to BIN it, then there is zero stress of winning or losing, because you know that you’re going to get all of your bids back and have the item shipped to you for free as well.

Bid at a Different Time

Are you the sort of person who only uses DealDash at night before bed, or maybe on the weekends? Thinking differently means doing things differently as well. Why not try to think of a different time that you can squeeze in some DealDashing? Maybe on your lunch break at work, while you’re in the kitchen making dinner, or even set your alarm for 2AM and see what’s going on in DealDash Land at that time. Think differently, act differently, win more auctions.

Bidding on DealDash Bid Packs

250 Bid Pack!

Bidding on DealDash bid packs seems a little counter-intuitive at first. When you think about it more, though, it starts to make sense.

When I first started on DealDash one of the first things that I tried to win was a bid pack, and I lost. I had used up about 75 bids on a 200 bid pack and was determined to win. Since I wasn’t using the BidBuddy yet I ended up missing a click of the mouse, and it was all over. I was really frustrated and vowed not to bid on bid packs anymore. I went on to bid on small gift cards and win them, so I was still interested in DealDash, I just didn’t see the point in bidding on bid packs anymore.

As time went on, though, the siren song of the bid packs drew me back into their auctions. As an older, wiser, and smarter bidder I ended up winning a few. The big difference, of course, is that I wasn’t just bidding randomly and wildly. I had researched the best times to bid on bid packs and was using my BidBuddy. As fellow blogger Barbara Sellers wrote

DealDash often puts bid packs of 100 to 4,000 up for auction. Usually, the larger the bid pack, the more difficult it is to win. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, but the largest bid packs of 800, 1,000, 1,500 and 4,000 attract the most competitors. – Barbara Sellers

Bidding on bid packs is an excellent way to spend your last 20 or 30 bids that you have in your bid bank if you aren’t planning on buying any more bids until they are on a great sale. You never know, you might place those 20 or 30 bids on a 200 pack of bids and win! Wouldn’t that just brighten your day and make you love DealDash even more?

If bidding on bid packs seems like a waste of bids to you, that’s okay, too. You can get free bids from DealDash quite easily. A few of the different ways to get free bids from DealDash include signing in and placing at least 1 bid daily, taking pictures of yourself with your wins, and saving up “clock time” as the highest bidder.

If I may give you a suggestion, why not use the free bids that you receive from DealDash and bid on bid packs? That way if you lose you won’t be too disappointed since you’re not losing any of your own money, and if you win it will be extra sweet since it was a win with free bids.

Calling All New Bidders!!

DealDash new bidders

Hello new bidders! Welcome to the best bidding site around, DealDash. Here are some tips, tricks, and ideas to get you started.

If you’re just getting started and are used to a more “traditional” bidding site, you’re in for a treat with DealDash. On DealDash instead of raising the price of each item by dollars (or hundreds of dollars!) each bid only raises the auction price by ONE penny! How is that possible? Let me tell you about the amazing site known as DealDash.

How Do DealDash Bids Work?

The way that DealDash is able to sell these items for pennies on the dollar is because DealDash is what’s known as a “Pay to bid” site. As in, you buy the bids beforehand, and use these to bid on the auctions.

When you buy your very first bid pack, the bids will cost .60 each. After you have purchased your bid pack you will be able to take advantage of the near-daily super sales that DealDash offers on bids. I have seen the bids go as low as .12 each, but that’s typically only on a special holiday. However, even the regular sales can net you significant savings on bids.

Once you have purchased your bids you can feel free to bid on anything that you like. There are many auctions on the front page, and you can click on each to open it up and read more or book a BidBuddy, or you can just bid from the main page.

What’s the Best Way to Bid?

DealDash bidders use various bidding strategies. Which way is the best way? It’s up to you! However, in my experience, I have the best luck by using the BidBuddy. It is possible to win auctions by single bidding, but it’s really more luck than anything else. If you want to win consistently, then you need to use the BidBuddy.

The BidBuddy is DealDash’s automatic bidding tool. It’s located in each auction page, and can be found to the right of the picture of the item. Simply add in as many bids as you would like to place in the auction and hit “Book a BidBuddy.”

Sometimes You Just Need to BIN

dealdash bin

DealDash loves its customers. You can tell by the amazing features that they offer such as Buy It Now (BIN).

Do you love the BIN feature on DealDash? You should, because Buying It Now is a really great option when you’ve invested way too many bids on an auction. Winning the auction is the point of playing on DealDash, but in many auctions, there will be a person who wants the item more than you do. This person will outbid you to get it.

What Does Buying It Now Mean?

BIN is a feature that DealDash offers to every bidder in every auction. This is also known as “Buying It Now.” With BIN, if you have bid to many times and are still not going to win the item you can purchase it at the retail price that is listed on each and every auction page, and have all of the bids that you spent on the auction returned to your account.

When Should I BIN?

Knowing when to BIN an item is an important skill to learn. You always want to do your “DealDash Math” before you enter an auction to see how many bids that you can spend before you reach the retail price.

Once you have hit the number of bids that you have previously calculated and you still haven’t won the auction, that’s when you know it’s time to throw in the towel and BIN the auction. Don’t think of it as a loss, though, because you will get every single bid that you spent returned to your account when you BIN the item. You will also get free shipping, no matter how large or small the item is. Free shipping is the other feature that DealDash offers that really puts them on a higher level than their competitors.

I hope that you found this new DealDash article on Buying It Now helpful. Another way to learn more DealDash information is to read the DealDash Reviews blog and our sister blog DealDash Tips daily. There is always a wealth of DealDash information to explore. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Loving Your DealDash Experience

loving DealDash

DealDash’s goal is to have everyone love their experience on the site. Here are some ideas to get the most out of it.

If you’re a newbie and you haven’t been having a great experience on DealDash, you might not be using the site to the fullest extent. It’s hard to consistently win auctions if you don’t know what you are doing, and that’s where the DealDash Blog comes in to help. We want you to love DealDash and have a great experience every time, even if you don’t win, and the way to do that is to learn everything about DealDash that you can!

Being an Excellent Bidder

How can you learn to be an excellent bidder if you’re new to the site? There is an easy answer to that, and it is to watch the more experienced bidders in the big auctions. Even if you’re not planning on bidding on a larger auction such as a TV or video game system you should still watch some of those auctions as they are happening.

By watching the more experienced bidders in the bigger auctions you will get a much better idea of how to develop your own bidding style. When you’ve decided on a bidding style that you would like to use, then it’s time to start bidding in auctions yourself.

Choosing the Correct Auctions to Bid On

Before you start bidding you’ll need to purchase a bid pack. The bid packs range from around 50 to 2,000! After buying the bid pack you can figure out exactly which auction that you would like to enter. You can start with an auction that is currently in progress, as long as the final auction price hasn’t reached the $5 “No Jumper Limit.”

You can start with an auction that is currently in progress, as long as the final auction price hasn’t reached the $5 “No Jumper Limit.” You may also choose to enter an auction that is happening in the near future by loading up your BidBuddy with the appropriate number of bids to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price.

Choosing an auction to bid in is one of the most fun parts about DealDash! Personally, I would suggest starting off with a gift card auction. That way if you have reached the BIN (Buy It Now) price you can simply buy the gift card for the regular face-value, receive all of your bids back, and also get free shipping. It’s a no-risk auction when you bid on a gift card that you would have purchased anyway such as a gas gift card.

I hope this article has encouraged you to learn more about DealDash. You should definitely check out DealDash’s “Tips & Tricks” section on the site.
