Playskool Sesame Street Play All Day Elmo

Kids age zero to about 8 love stuffed animals. DealDash has you covered if you are searching for the perfect stuffed animal for a child. They have the perfect stuffed animals for babies and toddlers – they are an animal head attached to a tiny blanket about the size of a washcloth. They are perfect for the baby to cuddle, they are easy to hold, and the baby can even chew on them when they are teething. For preschool age DealDash has the Elmo stuffed animal as shown in the picture above. Preschool kids love Elmo! And for older kids that are in elementary school, they have the Cuddle Pillows that are in the shape of their favorite TV characters. If you’re going to give a child a stuffed animal for Christmas this year, be sure to check DealDash first!

DealDash has begun to offer educational and craft toys made by ALEX for children. These educational and craft kits are fun, great for elementary school-aged children, and can even be a gift given to a family for the children to share among siblings. If you are a little short on cash and have multiple children in the same household to give a gift to this Christmas, an ALEX kit might be the way to go! You can save money by giving a single gift to a sibling group, they can enjoy it together, and their parents will be happy that there is only 1 extra toy in the house instead of multiple.

As with all auctions on DealDash, if you don’t happen to win these toys when you bid on them, then you can always BIN (Buy It Now) for the retail price, get all of your bids back to use again, get free shipping, AND get to keep of of the clock time that you earned as being the highest bidder.

If you would like to get either of these items for the upcoming Christmas season, just search for them on DealDash, then set an alert. Setting an alert is simple. Just search for your toy, click on the item, and look on the right side of the screen. There will be a blue button that says “Alert Me”. Click on the button, and when the item is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email. It’s the only way to never miss out on an auction for a product that you really want.

Stretching Your Budget on DealDash

Image result for budgetEveryone likes to save money. Here’s how to stretch your DealDash budget.

When you’re bidding on DealDash it’s very easy to get carried away and break your budget, especially if you don’t really know what you are doing. This blog is here to help you keep your budget in mind while still having fun bidding. We want you to get the most of out your DealDash experience while still sticking to your bidding budget. The more you learn about DealDash, the better bidder that you will become, and the more you will win.

The easiest tip to stick to a budget on DealDash is to be sure that you buy your bids when they are a good price. When there is a great bid sale going on (sometimes the bids can get as low as .12 per bid!) then be sure to buy a bigger bid pack to get more bids for your money. When you buy bids at a great price it’s easier to stick to your DealDash budget, because you can spend more bids to win an item and still end up paying less than the person who paid more for their bids.

To keep your DealDash budget in line, be sure to watch and observe the auctions and the other bidders before you jump into the fun. If you spend time studying the auctions and the bidders before you decide to bid you can save bids and money while spending just a little of your time. Be sure to figure out ahead of time how many bids that you are willing to spend on a certain item, and stick to the DealDash budget.

The way to have a great time on DealDash is to make sure that you aren’t spending too much money that you will regret later. DealDash doesn’t want you to have regrets – they want you to enjoy your entertainment shopping experience. You will have a much better time bidding and winning if you stick to your budget!

Love that Winning Feeling on DealDash

Image result for winning feeling That winning feeling is pretty common on DealDash. There are hundreds of winners every day!

Do you know the winning feeling that I am talking about? If you’re a frequent bidder on DealDash, of course you do! Winning on DealDash is sometimes very easy, and sometimes downright difficult – but once you see that big “CONGRATULATIONS!” it’s all worth it, and that’s the winning feeling that I’m talking about!

There are some categories that are easier to win than others – I find that video games, DVDs, and Blu-Rays are on the easier side to win. On the flip side of that coin, I find that the gift cards, especially the smaller $10 and $25 ones are more difficult to win. Why? Because most people don’t mind taking a chance on a $10 or $25 gift card to a store that they are planning on going anyway, such as Subway or Dunkin’ Donuts. They know if they don’t win the gift card outright, then they can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the gift card, free shipping, and all of their bids back to use on another auction. Not only that, but they get to keep the “clock time” that they gained by bidding on the gift card. It’s a great situation to take advantage of the perks!

I have occasionally had awesome luck with winning gift cards, though. I once won a $25 Shell gas gift card for around $3 (plus the cost of bids, so around $5 total) so you just never know what’s going to happen when you bid on DealDash. That’s why they call it entertainment shopping.

Once you have had that winning feeling a few times – why don’t you share it? Have you invited your friends and family to join DealDash? You can’t bid on the same auctions at the same time, but why not share your love of DealDash with your nearest and dearest?

I hope this article has you thinking about your next big win. I want you to  get the most out of your DealDash experience. If you’re interested in reading even more tips and tricks check out the “Tactics & Tips” section on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Common DealDash Myths

screenshot-9

Have you heard any myths about DealDash? Here’s the truth about DealDash.

There are many myths surrounding DealDash, and I would like to straighten a few things out so that everyone knows the truth. Here are a few of the myths that I have heard about DealDash – and the facts that go along with the myth.

  • Myth – You have to buy the item if you don’t win.
  • Fact – No, you don’t have to buy the item. If you choose to buy the item if you don’t win, great! That’s called BIN (Buy It Now), and means that you will get all of your bids back that you placed on the item. If you decide that you don’t want to BIN the item when you don’t win, that’s fine also, your bids will not be returned to you if you don’t BIN the item, though.
  • Myth – You have to pay shipping on the big items.
  • Fact – NO! Shipping is always free on DealDash, no matter what the size or the weight of the item. From the lightest gift card to the heaviest appliance, shipping is always fast and free on DealDash.
  • Myth – The people on the DealDash commercials are actors.
  • Fact – Nope! The people on the DealDash commercials are everyday bidders, just like you and me.
  • Myth – The items are old stock.
  • Fact – All of the items are brand new, fresh, and have warranties on them. If you happen to ever get an item that was damaged in transit, be sure to contact DealDash customer service immediately, and they will fix your problem.

These are just a few of the myths about DealDash that I have heard or read about. As you can see, these myths are incorrect, and some of them are even downright silly! I hope this article has encouraged you to learn more about DealDash. You should definitely check out DealDash’s “Tips & Tricks” section on the site. It’s full of great information that you will find helpful when bidding on DealDash. Just click this link right here and you can check it out. Good Luck and Happy Bidding, everyone!

A Few of My Many Mistakes

Image result for bad mistakeEven seasoned bidders make mistakes. Here are some of my top mistakes and how to fix them.

Everyone was a newbie once, and there are many fairly common mistakes that newbies make that we have numerous articles about here on the DealDash Blog. Even seasoned bidders such as myself make mistakes, too. Here are some of my top mistakes and the solutions to prevent or recover from them. With this knowledge we can improve your bidding so you can be as mistake-free as possible.

My first mistake, long ago, on my very first day of bidding on DealDash was not using my BidBuddy! I (very mistakenly) thought that setting up the BidBuddy meant that it was going to bid after every single bid that was placed. Which is completely wrong, of course! I just couldn’t understand how by using the BidBuddy I could save bids. After reading up on the BidBuddy (which I should have done first) I realized that our friend the BidBuddy bids in a pattern with the other BidBuddies, taking turns until there is only one BidBuddy or “live” bidder left. If I had just learned how to use my BidBuddy on my first day on DealDash I would have been less frustrated in the beginning.

Another mistake in my early bidding days was paying too much for bids. In addition to paying too much for bids, I should have also been more aware of the great auctions sales that DealDash offers such as “Free Auction Day” and “Half-Price Auction Day.” In my early days of bidding on DealDash  I would purchase smaller bid packs when I ran out instead of waiting for a low-priced bid sale and buying bigger packs. This of course, is not very cost-effective! If you want to get the most for your money,  a better plan is to wait for a great sale on bid packs and buy the largest bid pack than to buy smaller bid packs whenever you run out and pay too much for them. I liken it to shopping at the supermarket – Why buy a 1 pound bag of rice for $3.99 when you can buy a 5 pound bag of rice for $7.99? Sure, it seems like the $3.99 bag is a better deal, but it’s really not. Buy in bulk, save money.

The last mistake that I would like to talk about today is bidding within your budget. When I first started I was bidding willy-nilly – on laptops, iPads, and more. Those things weren’t in my budget to BIN (Buy It Now) if I didn’t win, so it was foolish of me to throw away 100 bids here and there on something that I wasn’t truly committed to buying. That’s why they call DealDash entertainment shopping. Sure, you might win a 55″ TV for 100 bids, but it’s not likely. That’s why it’s a much smarter idea to only bid on BIG things like that if you are already planning on buying one anyway. That way, if you win for less than the retail price, AWESOME! And if you don’t happen to win, then you can just pay the retail price and get all of your bids back plus free shipping. It’s truly a win-win situation!
