Neato Keeps My House Neat & Tidy

Everyone has heard of robot vacuum cleaners, but my favorite one has not gotten as much recognition as some of the others – Meet Neato!

Neato is the best robot floor cleaning vacuum that I have ever run across, and I have actually owned 3 different models of a different brand in the past. Well, guess what? They are all piled in the closet now, because the Neato XV Signature is all I need!

One of my favorite features that Neato has is he tells you when his dust bin and filter need to be cleaned. It really takes a lot of the guesswork out of keeping him in good running shape. He also thanks you when you complete his request, which I think is just adorable!

Another feature that I love about Neato is he is very easy to program. There are only a few choices on his menu, and it just takes a few pushes of a button to set his clock and then to set the days and times that you would like him to clean.

Neato Robotics has not been around as long of some of the other brands, they launched their first robot in 2010, but they have really improved the world of robotic vacuums since then. The Neato is different than some of the other robot vacuums because it doesn’t just randomly roam around the room, the Neato travels in straight line patterns that are partially overlapped, it has a laser that scans the room in a full 360° circle, and also maps the room being vacuumed while it is completing its task, which is really nothing short of amazing. The Neato XV series robot is even able to return to his home base by himself when he’s running out of power, and is able to remember where he left off cleaning, and continues to clean at the exact spot where he left off after he recharges himself.

I absolutely adore my Neato! I have him clean the bottom floor of my house every second day, and it really makes a difference when I do a big vacuuming with my Dyson at the end of the week. Before I won my Neato I was vacuuming every other day myself, it’s really great to be able to save so much time and scale down my time vacuuming to about an hour a week instead of 4 hours a week! And if you have pets you are in luck, no more vacuuming up fur everyday – Neato makes a robot vacuum specifically for pet owners. So you see, Neato really makes life easier, and saves you time so you can enjoy your downtime instead of doing chores after work.

Speaking frankly, though, I am considering buying a second one at full price for the second floor of my home, so I could have two Neatos vacuuming both levels at once, they are just that good!

This Article Will “Tide” You Over While You Wait for a Detergent Auction Start

Do you have a certain smell that you remember from childhood? Does the scent of cookies baking remind you of your Mother or Grandmother?

Well, one of my favorite “scent memories” is Tide laundry detergent. The fresh clean smell takes me back to being a small kid and helping my Mom in the laundry room, loading up the clothes, measuring and pouring the Tide into the little cup. It may sound a little silly that one sniff of that wonderful fresh laundry detergent scent can take me back to childhood, but it’s actually a scientific fact. First, the olfactory nerve, which carries the sensory information for the sense of smell, is located very close to the amygdala. The amygdala is the the area of the brain that is connected to the experience of emotion and emotional memory. In addition, the olfactory nerve is very close to the hippocampus, which is also associated with memory. So basically, every time you smell a new scent you are creating a new memory.

Even though Tide makes me remember fond childhood memories, they have really made leaps and bounds of progress since I was a child in the 80s. The Tide Detergent brand was introduced to consumers starting in 1946, coming as a white powdered bead. In 1984 they started making the Tide of my childhood memories, a clear liquid detergent with a slight orange tint. Today, however, most (but not all!) of the different types of Tide are a bluish-color.

Mixing it up in the Kitchen with Kitchenaid

Kitchenaid makes wonderful products and has a rich and interesting history.

Do you have a favorite helper in the kitchen? I do! It’s my beautiful Artisan 5-quart mixer from Kitchenaid!

Kitchenaid makes makes the best stand mixers in the world, and I feel very fortunate that I am able to have one. Not only are they amazing at mixing dough and making pasta, but they have a color to suit every taste! Mine is hot pink, they call it “Raspberry Ice.”

When you get a Kitchenaid mixer, you get more than just a mixer! Here’s what’s in the box:

These attachments are very useful, the flat beater can turn a baked chicken breast into shredded chicken for BBQ or chicken salad in no time! I use the wire whip to beat cream cheese into cheesecake, and heavy cream into whipped cream. There are a lot of other attachments that you can get, such as the food grinder, ice cream maker, ravioli maker, and many more. These attachments save time as well as money – I will never buy whipped cream in a can again! The whipped cream that you can make with the Kitchenaid is delicious, and has just one ingredient, heavy cream.

Kitchenaid has been around since 1919, it was started by The Hobart Corporation. These days, however, it’s owned by Whirlpool. Interestingly, when the mixer first came out, it was sold at hardware stores! The mixers were The Hobart Corporation’s sole product for 30 years, but in 1949 they introduced the dishwasher. Following the mixer and the dishwasher came the fridge, in 1986. Since then, of course, they have added many other things to their repertoire, including coffee makers, juicers, blenders, toasters, waffle makers, and so many more.

Keurig + K-Cup = One Great Morning!

Keurig brewers are user friendly and offer a large selection of beverage flavors to enjoy.

By this time, pretty much everyone in the USA has heard of Keurig, the company that makes the amazing coffee makers, right? Well, you may have heard of them, but let’s really get to know them…

For starters, Keurig is a New England company, they are located in Vermont. If you are familiar with Vermont, you would know what other food giant is located there, Ben & Jerry’s! Keurig’s main product that everyone knows about is of course the Keurig single cup brewer and corresponding K-Cups, but you might be interested to know that Keurig also makes a single cup espresso machine, too. It’s called the Rivo, and it’s capable of frothing milk for your lattes or cappuccinos.

How many flavors of K-Cups do you think are available to purchase? You might be surprised to know that the answer is over 268! Just a few of the flavors include Dark Roast, Medium Roast, Light Roast, Flavored, Decaf, Fair Trade Certified and Organic Coffee Roasts. There are also many popular brands such as Bigelow, Starbucks, Cafe Escapes, Celestial Seasonings, Gloria Jean’s Tea, Dunkin’ Donuts, Timothy’s Tea, and Twinings Tea just to name a few. Voila! Your coffee is ready! It’s amazing how such a simple design can make life so much easier.

They take calls from 7AM to Midnight every single day.

Keurig doesn’t just have ideas that the average person thinks are great– They also win awards, over and over again! For example, the Harris Poll has named Keurig the coffee maker “Brand of the Year” for 2012, 2013, and 2014. I am guessing when 2015 comes to a close that Keurig will be getting the Brand of the Year award yet again!

DealDash loves its bidders as much as bidders love winning fantastic deals in the auctions, which is one of the reasons why DealDash is always looking for ways to make shopping online cheaper and more fun. One of the things that bidders seem to love the most are the different ways DealDash gives them opportunities to earn free bids, which helps them save even more money. While more experienced bidders have learned to use these to save big bucks, some bidders don’t even know about them. So here’s a quick breakdown on the best ways to earn free bids to use on DealDash!

#1: The Time as Highest Bidder Meter

The “Time as Highest Bidder Meter” is a small bar sitting at the bottom of your screen when logged in to your account. As you bid in the auctions, it calculates how much time you spend as the highest bidder in a particular auction. Once it fills up, you can click on it to claim free bids. The amount of free bids you can earn starts small, but it increases as you move up to higher levels!

This basically rewards bidders for spending more time as the highest bidder in an auction, so it’s a great way to earn something just for participating in an auction.

#2: Facebook Promotions

Almost everyone has a Facebook account nowadays, so it’s really easy to get free bids just by participating in the DealDash community.
