Daily Free Christmas Gift Countdown!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go! Michael Bublé, and a few other artists, have sang these words, and this time of year, it’s true! It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, indeed. The lights have been hung, trees are perched in living rooms around America, and most families (and hopefully you too!) are enjoying some eggnog, gingerbread, and other Christmas treats. Unless you got your shopping done early, you are probably searching for cheap Christmas presents online. Some folks are enjoying receiving some Christmas presents already by opening an Advent Calendar, a traditional gift that has a box that is opened each day of December to reveal a small surprise.

Have you ever opened an Advent Calendar? They date all the way back to the mid 1800’s where pieces of candy were attached to a piece of wood and given to children. The idea is that each day, a box could be opened to reveal a new piece of candy, and that is pretty much how they work today! Nowadays there are countless types of Christmas calendars that gift everything from candy to cosmetics! If you have never had an Advent Calendar, don’t fret; we have you covered with our 11 Days of DealDash promotion that is just like, you guessed it, a countdown to Christmas. Simply log in each day starting on December 13th and claim a free gift that will help you strike deals online at DealDash.com!

The Best Deals Continue During Cyber Monday Week!

Black Friday has come and gone. Many retailers were left disappointed and waiting for crowds of people that never materialized. Black Friday sales plummeted this year compared to previous years and were down over 50%! While sales numbers have dropped for traditional stores, online companies like DealDash are thriving. Shopify, a company that hosts websites for thousands of brands around the word, announced global sales numbers of $2.4 billion—a 75% increase from last year!

1. Online Shopping Is Easier Than Ever

DealDash makes it easier than ever to sort out everyone on your Christmas list. One reason why a lot of folks are hesitant to do their Christmas shopping online is because they are worried about expensive shipping costs that are tacked on to the sales price. The mall is a great place to shop. After all, there is a reason why it is a favorite place for teenagers to gather with friends, and for seniors to walk a few laps and get some exercise. For many, the mall is an important part of suburban America that cannot be matched. But when it comes to savings and the potential amount of money you can save, online shopping has the mall and other traditional stores beat.

Check Out What The New DealDash TV Ad Reveals!

One way to start a debate, or perhaps even an argument, is to ask someone what their favorite TV show is. Many 90’s kids like myself will say that The Simpsons is the best show. Folks who like a bit of drama might reply with General Hospital, which ran for 58 seasons and has over 14,000 episodes! And those all over the country have their favorite news channels; be it a nationwide or a local channel – it has become an important part of their routine. One thing that people can agree on is this; TV commercials are the worst! They always seem to interrupt our favorite shows during the most important moments, and sometimes they seem to go on forever. And worst of all, there are teams of experts and psychologists designing commercials to make them intentionally annoying or memorable!

Is this really that hard to believe considering that most of us can recite parts of advertisements that we saw decades ago? (I’m lovin’ it!) Don’t get discouraged and turn off your TV just yet. There are some TV ads that are actually viewable. A lot of folks tune into the Super Bowl just for the iconic TV commercials, which cost millions of dollars to make, and even more money to air. The new DealDash TV commercial, airing just in time for Black Friday 2020, is also something that should not be missed. So if you are lucky enough to catch it while watching your favorite show, make sure to pay attention!

Celebrating Second Place with Auction Runner-up

Are you happy coming in second and being the auction runner-up? Second place is pretty good, right? Second place in the Olympics gets you a silver medal and most likely a parade when you return home. In major sporting tournaments like the U.S. Open Golf Championship, second place is worth over one million dollars!

The second-place finisher is often forgotten, despite finishing right at the top!

And don’t tell Fabiano Caruana – the second-best chess player in the world- that he underachieving. He is a genius, even if he is not #1. But while second place is usually a great achievement, there are times when coming in second is pretty lousy. As race car driver Dale Earnhardt, Sr. famously said in an angry outburst, “Second place is the first loser.” Maybe Dale is right. After all, who remembers Walter Mondale (second in the 1984 US presidential election)? On DealDash, do you treasure your wins? Or do you happily remember the times when you were the auction runner-up in DealDash auctions? While it’s true that there can be only one highest bidder in an auction, we now have a new promotion that makes the first runner-up a winner, too!
