DealDash 12th Anniversary Event!

A very special day is coming soon, a day that we should celebrate together! You didn’t forget, did you? Here’s a hint to help you remember; the traditional gift that’s exchanged on this day is silk. Hmm, that didn’t help much. How about another hint! This day commemorates 4,380 days together! Now can you guess what day I’m talking about? That’s right, DealDash’s 12th Anniversary is coming up!

Depending on how you look at it, this can also be called a birthday celebration. Here at DealDash, we love a good party, and we have celebrated this occasion as both our anniversary and our birthday. Both names fit, and the main point of the party is to give back to the people that have supported us every step of the way…our customers! So put on your dancing shoes, keep the BidBuddy at the ready, and celebrate 12 great years with us!

Most birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated on one day. That isn’t quite good enough for us. We think the DealDash Anniversary deserves a bit more fanfare, so we decided to make our party last a week! The festivities get started on Monday, February 22nd, and they will last all the way through Sunday, February 28th. We have spent the last 12 years running exciting auctions, offering amazing promotions, and introducing awesome auction features that make bidding exciting, like the new BidBuddy Guarantee!

I’m In Love With A Bidder

February 14th is almost here, and that means that you or someone close to you is about to celebrate Valentines Day. Dash Into The Future

Did you make any New Year’s resolutions for 2021? Many folks think that the beginning of the year is the perfect time to swear off junk food, join a gym, or take up a new hobby. While it’s true we can commit to something new anytime of the year, an estimated 140 million Americans say they are planning on making at least one New Year’s resolution. When is your birthday? Do you share your birthday with anyone famous? Our birthday is coming up soon! We share our birthday month with a lot of important historical figures including Galileo, Rosa Parks, and George Washington! It is coming this February and we have some big plans for our 12th birthday celebration. To begin with, a single day is not nearly enough time to celebrate our birthday, so we will be celebrating for a week, from February 22nd to February 28th! When you turned 12, you might have enjoyed a nice cake and hitting a piñata.

A New Face For The New Year

On DealDash, bidders love to show a bit of their personality in the auctions by choosing a funny or witty username, and of course selecting an avatar of their choice. The avatar is the photo that displays next to your username while you bid. DealDashers either select from a premade group of cartoon avatars, or they upload a photo of their own to use on the mobile apps.

Over the years, we have introduced exciting new items, promotions, and gameplay features to DealDash, but the avatars have stayed the same. We might have been overlooking them to work on other matters, but today we are proud to announce that we are not neglecting avatars anymore! In fact, we have 42 new avatars that are ready for you to begin using immediately!

A friendly face for any occasion

Putting your best face forward on DealDash is easy across all devices! On desktop, you can change your profile avatar from your Dashboard section. On Android, open the main app menu (three lines at the top left of the main screen), then tap your picture in the top left. On iOS, tap Dashboard → Settings, then your picture in the top left. Then all that’s left is deciding which new avatar is best for you!

With our new avatars, now you will have a face for every occasion, or auction!

From firemen to zombies, there is something for everyone! And if you really want to get in on the fun, take a guess at which one of the new avatars will be most popular! Let us know your guess by sending an email to our support team, and if you turn out to be right, we just might have a prize waiting for you.
