If you like to earn free bids, we have just the thing for you: Auction Leaderboards. These auctions work as normal, but with one special twist; a leaderboard has been added to the auction page! The leaderboard will display the name of the bidders who have collected the most TAHB (Time as Highest Bidder) in that auction.

Make sure you collect enough Time As Highest Bidder to enter the top 3 positions in the leaderboard. When the auction ends, the three bidders who have collected the most TAHB in that auction will earn additional bid rewards! Celebrate 2nd place in these auctions!

They say that second place is just the first loser, but that is not the case in our special Runner-up Auctions! These special online auctions work like this: The auctions will still be the same. Each bid raises the price by $0.01. The auction clock restarts from 10 seconds every time someone bids, and if no new bids are placed before the clock runs out, then they current highest bidder is the winner.

Auction Runner-up Discount on DealDash is a great way to earn rewards for finishing 2nd! — *Now you can feel great about coming in second place!*

But here is where things change; when the promotion is active the auction runner-up will receive a special discount on the Buy It Now price. For example, let’s say you came in second place in an auction for a purse auction. After the auction ends, you will receive a discounted Buy It Now offer for 50% the original price. These awesome runner up auctions don’t take place every day, but they do happen a few times a month so keep your eyes open.

Normally, the winner of a DealDash auction has the choice to receive the item they won, or trade their win back to bids. This newest type of special online auction actually takes away one of those choices! Yes, that’s right, I am talking about our No Exchange auctions!

A new way to shop

Our story began in 2009. We launched DealDash to create a new type of bidding site where bidders who don’t win an auction don’t have to lose their money. Over the past 12 years we have followed our motto of “Fair and Honest” to grow into the premier pay-to-participate shopping experience. Want to see for yourself? You begin by creating an account for free. The first stop for new bidders is the How It Works section. There you will learn how to bid and how to set up your profile. You can even participate in a practice tutorial auction.

The bidding process is a simple one. Each bid you place uses up one of the bids from your balance, and increases the price of the auction by 1¢, while setting the auction timer then back to a full ten seconds. It’s in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. Auctions go on as long as the bidding continues, but if no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sale price!
