DealDash Charity: Helping Equip Firefighters

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation helps equip first responders for their safety.

As we announced last week, Labor Day on DealDash was a bit more special this year. Thanks to the help of all bidders on Labor Day we managed to gather a total of $3,735.94 to be donated to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The donation consisted of the full price of all auction wins paid on Labor Day on DealDash.

The inspiration for this donation came from our desire to show gratitude to our nation’s first responders. But also, on the advent of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, to honor those first responders that put their well-being aside in the service to others on that day and those many weeks and months thereafter.

With Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation’s focus on acquiring resources and equipment, fire prevention education, and disaster relief, it seemed like a perfect fit to show our appreciation & support with a donation.

Our Most Important Promotion Ever!

It may sound dramatic, or even a bit like clickbait, but DealDash is about to launch its most important promotion ever. Are you rolling your eyes at this bold statement and having some doubts? An Important Cause—Now More Than Ever

There are some things that should be taken for granted. In a perfect world, no child would ever consider an education or access to food and medicine a luxury. These are basic human rights, and as stated by the United Nations, everyone should have access to an adequate standard of living. The sad reality is that many kids do not have access to these things. The COVID-19 pandemic has made things worse and now food banks across America are struggling to keep up with demand. At DealDash, we want to do our part to help, and we want you involved, too. This is where the idea to donate a meal for every purchase made comes from. All you have to do is simply use DealDash as you normally would. Buy some bids, hopefully win an auction, or use the Buy It Now option.

What Matters Most This Time Of Year

The holiday season can be tough. There are gifts to buy, people to see, and things to do. All of that on top of day to day responsibilities that don’t go anywhere, either. Unfortunately, the 2020 holiday season is a very difficult time for folks all over the country. Many Americans have lost their jobs because of the economic problems caused by COVID, and they don’t know what to do. For them, the holidays are not so much about gift giving and seeing family.

The holidays are about trying to scrape by. Here at DealDash, we believe that the true spirit of the holidays is helping as many folks enjoy the season as possible. We aim to go above and beyond whenever possible to deliver top notch service to our customers and also help make the holiday season a bit easier. Unfortunately, this is the harsh reality that over half-a-million Americans face every night, according to an official report published by the U.S Government. And believe it or not, the most in-demand item for folks that have to sleep rough is not a heavy jacket or even a sleeping bag, but socks.

Coronavirus Charity Donation: Together We Can Help!

The COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak recently has shocked the whole world. Growing public health concerns present challenges for many families and affect businesses varyingly across the country. Today we are announcing a coronavirus charity donation to The American Red Cross taking place this Saturday. Similarly to the charity donation last October, we are donating the final sales price of all auction wins paid on Saturday 3/21/2020 to The American Red Cross(excluding car auctions). We also want to share that we expect DealDash shipments to continue unaffected. Overall, we want to continue providing fun and excitement to people staying at home and auctions will continue normally.

DealDash donation to American Red Cross takes place this week. Disaster can strike anyone of us even without warning. We want to continue our charity work with the American Red Cross and will donate the final sales price of all auction wins paid today (10/6/2019) to disaster relief just like we did last year.
