The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 marked a monumental moment in history; the end of World War I. This was the hour when Armistice between the Allied Forces and Germany took effect which ended all major hostilities of World War I. November 11th was known as Armistice Day until 1954, when it was renamed Veterans Day. As we approach Veterans Day this year, we want to take a moment to appreciate the selfless sacrifice that the members of the United States Armed Forces make. Thank you for your service.

This year, millions of folks will be celebrating Veterans Day. There are over 1.4 million members of the United States Armed Forces currently, and Veterans Day honors all members of the Armed Forces, past and present. This raises the total number of Veterans in the united states to almost 20 million, according to research conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

A day full of tradition

Veterans Day pays respect to those who have served. On Veterans Day, you can choose how you wish to say thank you for your service. Some folks give flowers or baked goods to their neighbors or family members who have served. Other Americans choose to donate to charities that support Veterans, like the Fisher House Foundation – a group that builds comfort housing where Veterans can stay for free.

No matter how you choose to say thank you for your service, some Veterans Day traditions cannot be skipped. For one, the American Flag should always be flown at half mast on Veterans Day. There is also a two minute period of silence that begins at 11 AM. Some schools choose to close on Veterans Day, while others remain open. And if you intend to go to the grocery store or use public transit, be sure to check the schedule first; many businesses and public services operate on holiday schedules and reduced hours on Veterans day.

Titles and Perks of the Royalty Program

We have divided our Royalty Program into 3 tiers, each with their own title:

These Titles are earned based on the number of bids that are purchased within a month. As you earn new Titles, your perks and rewards will increase. Why we Launched the Royalty Program

The Royalty Program is the newest way for us to show our appreciation to our customers. Before launching the program, we ran a small-scale pilot test in the summer of 2021 to get a sense for how things should work.
