How to Get Free Bids

One of the features I love most about DealDash.com is having the opportunity to get free bids.

Customers earn free bids by doing the following:

  • Submit a clear photo of yourself with an auction product you won to [email protected] Include the name and description of the item, the retail price, the winning closing cost and how many bids you used. You can also include a brief comment about how you felt about winning the auction. The higher the value of the item (preferably more than $200) the better. You earn the most bids for photos of the high-dollar items.
  • Enter the weekly photo contest. The winner receives 1,000 free bids.
  • Open the DealDash.com home page every day and cast a minimum of one bid in any one of the auctions. For every consecutive day you play on DealDash, your free bids go up from 4 to 30. Therefore, it pays to visit DealDash on a daily basis.
  • Purchase a bid package and bid in auctions. At the bottom right-hand side of the screen you will see a green line. Every time you place a bid, that green line moves. When it gets to the end, you will win a package of free bids and advance to the next higher level. The higher the level, the longer it takes for the green line to get to the end but the more bids you will win. I’m now on Level 58 and when my green line gets to the end, I will receive 800 free bids.

To take a good photo, try doing the following:

  • Take a close-up photo of the customer with the auction item won, making sure the photo is in focus.
  • Take the photo in a well-lit area, making sure the photo is not too dark.
  • Take a photo of the winner actually using the auction item won.
  • Make sure the background is not too busy or distracting.
  • Capture a happy, excited facial expression.
  • Try taking a unique angle that makes the photo more interesting.

Calling All New Bidders!!

DealDash new bidders

Hello new bidders! Welcome to the best bidding site around, DealDash. Here are some tips, tricks, and ideas to get you started.

If you’re just getting started and are used to a more “traditional” bidding site, you’re in for a treat with DealDash. On DealDash instead of raising the price of each item by dollars (or hundreds of dollars!) each bid only raises the auction price by ONE penny! How is that possible? Let me tell you about the amazing site known as DealDash.

How Do DealDash Bids Work?

The way that DealDash is able to sell these items for pennies on the dollar is because DealDash is what’s known as a “Pay to bid” site. As in, you buy the bids beforehand, and use these to bid on the auctions.

When you buy your very first bid pack, the bids will cost .60 each. After you have purchased your bid pack you will be able to take advantage of the near-daily super sales that DealDash offers on bids. I have seen the bids go as low as .12 each, but that’s typically only on a special holiday. However, even the regular sales can net you significant savings on bids.

Once you have purchased your bids you can feel free to bid on anything that you like. There are many auctions on the front page, and you can click on each to open it up and read more or book a BidBuddy, or you can just bid from the main page.

What’s the Best Way to Bid?

DealDash bidders use various bidding strategies. Which way is the best way? It’s up to you! However, in my experience, I have the best luck by using the BidBuddy. It is possible to win auctions by single bidding, but it’s really more luck than anything else. If you want to win consistently, then you need to use the BidBuddy.

The BidBuddy is DealDash’s automatic bidding tool. It’s located in each auction page, and can be found to the right of the picture of the item. Simply add in as many bids as you would like to place in the auction and hit “Book a BidBuddy.”

The Day I Finally Won My “Must-Have” Item on DealDash

For two months I had been mildly obsessed with a set of 4 ceramic knives valued at $146. Okay, so there’s really no way to be “mildly” obsessed about something, right? I’ll admit it…I was completely obsessed with winning this item.

And don’t we all have that one item that speaks to us—the one we can’t seem to live without? This was the item…my “must-have” item.

But as luck would have it, this item is not only on my wish list but on the wish list of many, many others as well. It is an extremely popular item that average final bidding price this week was $15.47 (that’s a low of .19 and a high of $42.00).

I tried winning this item morning, noon and night, putting sometimes well over 100 bids at a time into winning it. I tried strategy after strategy: early bidding, late bidding, jumping into the middle bidding, bid a few then wait and nothing worked.  I even had to take a week off from bidding on it before I got back in the game.

I will admit to you now that I tried 22 times to win this item before I won it. Twenty-two times.

And just when I was ready to completely give up on ever owning this item, I decided to give it just one more try because I saw the auction was coming up in two minutes. I was ready to call it quits for the day, but something said to give it one more try with a couple of bids to see where I landed on the bidding board.

As it happened, I ended up placing my first bid at .09 (always a good sign with a relatively early bid) and another bidder bid just three times more and I ended up winning the item for 19 cents!!!  In the end, I paid .09 due to a half-off promotion DealDash was running (plus my five bids).

I was so shocked and elated I did a happy dance…seriously, I did!!!

visit-site12-13

I couldn’t believe it. I had to check three times to make sure my eyes were not deceiving me with the ecstatic fireworks display on my computer screen, but there it was! I had finally won!!!

So the moral of the story here is that if you find an elusive item on DealDash that you just have to have, employing any and all strategies across the board to educate yourself on bidders, bidding patterns and end prices is never a bad idea as it may help you feel you are doing all you can to win it, but in the end, it may simply be the willingness to try just one more time and sheer awesome luck that helps you turn the corner on turning that elusive item into a win that will be arriving at your door in no time!

Happy bidding and I hope you get the elusive DealDash item you want very soon!
