Smart Tips for Winning Bid Packs on DealDash

For the longest time, I was so intimidated to bid on Bid Packs that I would just avoid them at all costs. Over time, I gave it a try and after a few wins, realized that like any other auction on DealDash, winning a Bid Pack is as easy as winning most any other auction. All it takes patience, persistence and some great strategies.

Find Bid Packs

The place to specifically view all the upcoming Bid Packs DealDash is offering is under the banner on the main page. Click on Browse Categories and choose Bid Packs from the dropdown menu. DealDash offers Bid Packs in denominations of 100 to 8,000 bids with some “once per user” denominations.

Start Small

Starting off with a small bid pack is no different than starting off with the smaller auctions on DealDash. Winning your first small Bid Pack gives you the practice and confidence to go on to winner bigger Bid Packs.

Study the Competition

Studying the competition allows you to identify experienced bidders, bidding patterns and average ending prices for Bid Packs. Some experienced bidders will be sure to win one Bid Pack in each denomination per week so take notes and be ready for your turn to bid!

Get In It to Win It

Once you’re in a Bid Pack auction, use the Winners tab to see if the bidders you are bidding against have recently won other auctions for Bid Packs within the past 24 hours. Bidders who have success in one category tend to stick with that category, so weigh your options.

Do the Math

Figure the cost it would be if you were to buy the bids from the website.  Keep that figure in your mind as you bid. It’s a good idea to stick to a budget and pre-determining the number of bids you are willing to put into a Bid Pack auction. I generally stick to my budget without exception unless, of course, I am head-to-head with just one other bidder. Then I may invest a few more to see if I can secure the win.

Bid Packs Are Never a Loss with Buy It Now

The beautiful thing about bidding on Bid Packs is that they are a smart investment to bid on especially if you plan on buying a Bid Pack anyway.  Winning one for pennies on the dollar certainly is more fun and cost-efficient, but you don’t always come out with a win. With Buy It Now, you recoup the bids you put into that auction AND get the bids!

Winning Bid Packs on DealDash is no longer the elusive goal. If I can win them, anyone can! Winning a Bid Pack is always one of my favorite wins because of the bargain value. I hope these strategies will help you to win your next Bid Pack on DealDash!  Good luck and happy bidding.

What Do You Dream About Winning on DealDash?

DealDashWhat do you dream about winning on DealDash? Is there something special that you would love to win?

What is your favorite auction to bid on when you’re using DealDash? Have you not been able to win it yet? It seems like there is always that one auction that you just can’t quite win. Or perhaps your problem is that DealDash isn’t offering that special something that you’re looking for. If you could bid on anything, absolutely anything, what would it be? When you dream about DealDash, what are you winning?

Just Keep Missing That Special Auction?

Does DealDash have what you’re hoping and wishing for, but you just haven’t won it yet? Some auctions such as jewelry auctions are run every day, multiple times per day. However, some auctions, especially for higher-end, more expensive products aren’t run every day. Sometimes it can be tricky to catch them. That’s why it’s smart to set up an alert so you will know when your dream auction is coming up for bid.

Setting Up an Alert

You might wonder how to use the “Alert Me” feature on DealDash. Well, it’s easy!  Just click the button that says “Alert me” and DealDash will send you an email when DealDash has scheduled an auction for your special dream auction item. DealDash will alert you when the auction is starting within a couple of days, and then again when the auction is starting within a couple of hours. They will send you these emails only if you request them, DealDash does not spam people.

Be Sure to Use Your BidBuddy

If there’s a special auction that you’ve been dreaming about, then the next time it comes up, you had better set an alert, then when notified, set up your BidBuddy. If this auction is something that is very important to you, then the BidBuddy is your go-to in this auction situation. You may input as many bids as you would like into the BidBuddy, and you may cancel them anytime as well. The BidBuddy is a must if you really want to win.

Requesting an Auction from DealDash

You’ve all heard me say this before, but the folks over at DealDash customer service are some of the friendliest people around. If you’ve missed your dream auction or DealDash hasn’t yet offered what you want, then shoot them a quick email! Let them know what you’re interested in bidding on, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw it come up in the DealDash roster shortly.

Being an Intermediate Bidder on DealDash

DealDash

Being a newbie on DealDash is easy. Being an intermediate bidder can be a little trickier…

When you first open your account on DealDash and begin bidding you should get your first wins fairly quickly. When you’re a newbie and haven’t won anything DealDash typically adds in a few small auctions so you are only bidding against other newbies. Why do they do this? It’s so you can get a feel for how to bid and how the site in general works.

When you are first starting to bid it’s smart to start small with a $10 gift card or a small item so that you can see how the bidding process works. There is also a tutorial on DealDash so you can go through a pretend auction and see how it works. If you complete the tutorial you will also receive 10 free bids when you complete it for winning the mock auction.

What’s Next As a Bidder?

Once you’ve won some small auctions and have a good feel for how the site works, then you can move on to bigger and better prizes. How do you know when you’re ready to move on to bigger prizes? It totally depends on you! However, being prepared is a good way to win things big and small, so I would suggest that you start doing your research on not just the items but other bidders as well.

If you’re wondering how you can get more information on DealDash auctions, it’s easy. Anyone can get this information at any time, no matter if they’re bidding in the auction or just observing. Simply open up any auction page and it will tell you a lot of the information that you need to know. On the left side, from top to bottom you will see the BIN (Buy It Now) price, the previous winners and what the auction ended at, and then below that, you will see the bidders currently bidding on the auction. As they are bidding you will see each person’s avatar pop up, and their bidding bio, which is just a few sentences that they wrote about themselves.

Interested in the Money Back Guarantee?

If you’ve tried bidding as a newbie and have decided that DealDash just isn’t for you – no problem! DealDash offers a “No Questions Asked 100% Money Back Guarantee” on any bidder’s first bid pack purchase. If any bidder is unsatisfied with the DealDash website for any reason they are entitled to get their entire first Bid Pack purchase fully refunded.

It’s easy to be refunded, and there will be no hard feelings! Even after getting a refund you are still allowed to participate on DealDash – but there will be no more refunds on bid packs. You can email [email protected] within 90 days of your first bid pack purchase and request the refund. The refund will be credited back to you in 7 days. The refund will be granted regardless of if you have won or lost auctions, or whether you have bids left on your account or not. Only 1 refund per person, no exceptions, sorry.

Thanks for Reading the Blog
