When I first started shopping on DealDash I admit I was a bit overwhelmed.
There are so many different items to choose from. Where in the world do you start?
One of the best things to do is to read everything that is put out to help you with this process. There are numerous tips and bidding strategies that DealDash will help you with and also many bidders that send guest blogs to share what they have learned.
The best thing I can say is to start slow and with the lower priced items. It does take practice and there are many different ways to “skin a cat”. You can ask 5 different people and get 5 different answers to the same question so just listen, learn and choose the way you want to achieve your goal of winning. A good place to start is the tactics and tips page and of course the house rules.
Once you have mastered the in & out’s of the actual bidding process decide what it is you need. I make lists of things I would like to have and people I would like to give to. Whatever you do, have a plan.
I love the kitchen items for myself but would not give those things to a friend who doesn’t cook. So for her I thought about what would help her and made her list. This wonderful lady is the type that is so smart, has a doctorate, but can’t find her way around a city to save her life. She gets lost every time even if she has been there many times before. So guess what would be the best gift for her? A GPS navigator!
All you have to do is go to the auctions page and type in GPS and you will find one.
I ended up giving her a Garmin 4.3 inch portable GPS Navigator with lifetime maps with lane assist. No more lost friends! Garmin was one of the first brands of GPS units and they are still producing one of the best out there.
For my husband his list started with a new headset. One of the most annoying habits he has is to yell “Hello” in my ear when he can’t hear me on the phone. Makes you just want to reach out and “touch” somebody. I get that he drives a truck and there is a whole lot more noise on his end. He needs one of the best headsets out there for the proper reception. I think he has been through every brand on the market. We needed the best so I bid on a Blue Parrott Bluetooth headset by VXI for him. It has noice reduction and works great. Now I’m not going deaf from all his yelling! So was this a present for him or for me!
So read, learn, make a list, educate yourself and then bid away on the best online auction site there is…DealDash! Please, don’t forget to have FUN!
