DealDash Charity: Helping Equip Firefighters

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation helps equip first responders for their safety.

As we announced last week, Labor Day on DealDash was a bit more special this year. Thanks to the help of all bidders on Labor Day we managed to gather a total of $3,735.94 to be donated to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The donation consisted of the full price of all auction wins paid on Labor Day on DealDash.

The inspiration for this donation came from our desire to show gratitude to our nation’s first responders. But also, on the advent of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, to honor those first responders that put their well-being aside in the service to others on that day and those many weeks and months thereafter.

With Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation’s focus on acquiring resources and equipment, fire prevention education, and disaster relief, it seemed like a perfect fit to show our appreciation & support with a donation.

In 2020 Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation helped first responders by donating the above gear.

Charity donation to help equip firefighters

Let’s start with the most important news of the week: DealDash will donate the final sum of all auction wins paid on Labor Day (excluding car auctions) to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

This wonderful foundation helps firefighters save lives. They provide lifesaving equipment and needed resources to first responders and public safety organizations thus helping them to be better prepared to save lives in the communities they serve.

After all, most of us go to work to earn money, so it makes sense that saving money is a fitting tribute to your hard work. Luckily for you our Labor Day Weekend Sale is right around the corner! Our popular Auction Leaderboard promotion will also be returning during Labor Day Clearance Week. This popular promotion keeps track of how much time each bidder collects as the highest bidder in a specific auction. The three bidders who have collected the most Time As Highest Bidder in an auction will earn additional bid rewards. The bidder with most Time as Highest Bidder in the auction gets the largest reward. The second and third place then share a smaller part of that.
