A New Face For The New Year

On DealDash, bidders love to show a bit of their personality in the auctions by choosing a funny or witty username, and of course selecting an avatar of their choice. The avatar is the photo that displays next to your username while you bid. DealDashers either select from a premade group of cartoon avatars, or they upload a photo of their own to use on the mobile apps.

Over the years, we have introduced exciting new items, promotions, and gameplay features to DealDash, but the avatars have stayed the same. We might have been overlooking them to work on other matters, but today we are proud to announce that we are not neglecting avatars anymore! In fact, we have 42 new avatars that are ready for you to begin using immediately!

A friendly face for any occasion

Putting your best face forward on DealDash is easy across all devices! On desktop, you can change your profile avatar from your Dashboard section. On Android, open the main app menu (three lines at the top left of the main screen), then tap your picture in the top left. On iOS, tap Dashboard → Settings, then your picture in the top left. Then all that’s left is deciding which new avatar is best for you!

With our new avatars, now you will have a face for every occasion, or auction!

From firemen to zombies, there is something for everyone! And if you really want to get in on the fun, take a guess at which one of the new avatars will be most popular! Let us know your guess by sending an email to our support team, and if you turn out to be right, we just might have a prize waiting for you.
